Did My Cruiser Get Damaged While Shipping?! Your Guide To Successfully Ship Your Dream Land Cruiser!
I've tried my best to share my experience based on what it took me to ship a Land Cruiser from UAE into the US. Don't rely solely on these information and do you research like I did.
The process is fairly easy. The key thing is to find the right vehicle and have it inspected before shipping.
Here are the documents you need based on my experience to successfully ship a 25 years old or more vehicle from overseas into the United States.
Documents you need to provide to the shipping company:
1- Passport copy of buyer & seller
2- Valid vehicle registration copy showing the seller name (seller to provide)
3- Vehicle export certificate in the name of buyer (seller to provide)
4- Bill of sale listin...

This is my 1994 Land Cruiser 80 series GCC spec. I spent a lot of money on upgrades for mine lol that I installed all myself. Bigger wires for electrical system. Gonna do a bigger alternator and battery next. Poly bushings and body mounts all around, skid plate, bilstein 6112 and long travel rear end, BFG KO2s, weld on rock sliders, exterior and interior detail, and of course all maintence up to date. I literally threw everything I could at it lol.
Great SUV, I have 1993 with lift kits and ARB bumper front and back. Enjoy and used.

I don't agree, because it is underpowered
Toyota Land Cruiser it is a very reliable vehicle. However, they are underpowered and you need to modify it in order to increase the Horsepower rate.
This aspect doesn't bother me and I feel it has adequate power for its size and age.

I want one with manual transmission and v6 engine. Did you swap your transmission?
Can beat a manual transmission. It came from factory like that, hence I paid premium to buy it!

It took me about 2 hours but no previous experience in car wraps. Now that I own a commercial vehicle wrap busy and I see our installers doing it, I can do it faster

Very informative video. Thanks for posting it. How many miles did it have when you bought it and around how much did you pay for it? Is there a UAE website that sells older Japanese cars?
It had 84k miles. It cost me around $37k shipped. I’m now aware of any website that sells older Land Cruisers but you can check dubizzle, it’s like craiglist here in the states. Good luck!
This is a lot better than importing one from Japan with right hand drive. Rear AC, tire rack, hood ornament, cool box, etc. you can't get from a US spec one. Damn nice LC!
