Usually I don't give data longer than 1,000 words. if you have ChatGPT plus you can load data file to the chat :)

They are close to what I look for. But I would never trust the results though. It's better to recheck with other tools, or at least ask the Bot to list items that he put in each category. Hope this help!

I haven't had the opportunity to use robust qualitative software for analysis (familiar with RQDA from R). That said, if I were to publish, I would ensure to validate the results using reliable qualitative software. Been using ChatGPT for other kinds of analysis and many times it's gone completely off track.

We cannot trust, we need to double check every result.

​@@skrozneobican In my experience, it does. Sometimes as simple as getting descriptive stats wrong (e.g., sum, average). I guess it only help with gererating ideas and broad observation for now.

Totally agree, it's a language model. I treat it as my RA, editor, and secretary most of the time :)

@@vasabiacademy Me too :) Good point again, it depends on whether I can check the quality and prove the response myself with my skill set. If so, then very helpful as an assistant. But if I can't judge the response myself, then completely useless.

Its ok to use tools to help you make decisions. Imagine what life would be like if we didnt have exel to begin with? You can certainly do the math by hand but excel speeds it up. chatgpt can also be useful to make some more efficient deicisions - although you still have to decide if your output is accurate. I have a separate comment about that coming up.

It's a text AI so it won't be able handle that many rows of data (currently). I tried only 10+ rows just to get some ideas. You still need to go to actual tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R) to actually analyze the data.

To be more specific, the AI can only process 4,000 tokens at a time (A token is approximately 4 letters) Meaning it can process quite a lot, but 1,000+ rows / columns would be unrealistic as of now.

It can definitely give idea. Take a small subset of data ask it for some insights. If it finds something you didn’t think of that’s useful you can then use that idea to do some real bi. It’s an amazing program. It helps me so much with writing case statements for use in Google data studio. It’s not always correct but I’ve leaned so much more about data analysis by using Gpt.

Flowgorithm is not the best app for handling array, IMHO. This clip shows only one array with a few elements. Usually in class while I teach, when it gets to 2D, I move to Python or other real programming language.
