Hello JO. I've just realized that some laptops labelled ddr4-3200 are actually 1600mhz ram sticks. So 1600x2 = 3200 but memory speed is actually 1600mhz. Can you please confirm this with CPU-Z and give us information on actual memory speed for these laptops?

Hi, I have this same model (S145 15API) I think. After 4 years my CPU goes up to 70° only with firefox running, so I'm gonna change the thermal paste. Thank you for the video! Also, this laptop comes with 2.1 gb of ram reserved for hardware. I always hated this and from what I understood it's because the radeon vega 8 is using it for IGpu, but we have no options to limit the gbs due to the total abscence of advanced options in the Bios. Do actually anyone find the solution?

Little bit late to the discussion, but any new discoveries? I am looking into this and everyone is scared of damaging the screen (when lid closed), but I wasn't able to find any picture or post with laptop damaged this way. Is there someone who destroyed their laptop by closed lid? Or is it all only a speculation (theory). I know that your video was primary about performance gain when lid open. My laptop is Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 gen2.

I have intel i5 1235 U . By default 1235 u comes with iris. But my laptop shows intel uhd. I have 16 gb of one stick ram Some people says that even if i have 4+4 = 8 gb of ram then it will show iris. Two sticks are mandatory. Is it true? Can not i make my i5 show iris without buying another ram sticks. I mean 16 gb is enough

I scored this exact laptop from my job, we rent appliances and electronics, for $200 and I love it! I upgraded the ram to 32gb and put in a second 2tb m.2 drive. It's not a top of the line graphics card but for the games I play it works great! I get decent fps on CS2,GTA5 and RDR2 so I couldn't ask for much more at that price.

Does it show Iris? I came to know that IRIS show up only with two stick of rams(dual channelled ram). Otherwise with one RAM (even if it is 16GB) it will work as UHD?
