I love tip #2 about walking at night. One time when I was in Vegas, I tried walking a good length of the strip. The heat, when youre just standing around, isnt so bad. But walking any distance in it, is draining, causing you to sweat too much, you get tired much easier. So that tip really hit home for me. I booked as many as possible the next few days. Do it!!

Just a suggestion! Criss Angel is a demonic, dark show. I've seen just about every major show in Vegas in the last 8 years I've been going there twice a year. Most of the shows are trashy, especially the comedy shows. Buy the Casino Guide book and you can save a ton of money with coupons!! Buy two books and the investment made on those books more than pays for itself. If you gamble enough you will get offer for free rooms but you have to use your player's card, so get one! I agree Dowtown is great and the restaurants are so much better and "The Golden Nugget" has the best Buffet anywhere in Vegas! The Magnolia at the "Four Queens is absolutely awesome too! Stay away from the Strip Buffets, especially Mandalay Bay. They aren't worth it and aren't good. MGM properties have the best Comps if you gamble enough. But remember, you're paying for your Comps when you gamble a lot and lose! The Casino always has the edge. The odds are better at the Downtown Fremont Strip. Or take a Uber and ask which is the best local Casino and play there. But, if you want to get free offers, you have to do most of your gambling at the casinos on the main strip, especially the MGM properties (MGM Grand, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Aria, New York New York, Excalibur). But be prepared to lose because the slots are tight.

Totally agree on your tips definitely go see some show many shows are free with just that I like to drink minimum and they're totally worth it and then downtown has a lot of free shows right there that you can just tip yes definitely don't miss out on the shows and if you can afford it go see one of the bigger shows you will not be disappointed

I don’t agree with tip 1. While I agree that check in lines are notoriously long, sneaking into the VIP area is not smart, dishonest and disrespectful to those that are VIPs. I’ve seen people who brought in hordes of people to the VIP area, helped themselves to coffee and cookies, and they were asked for their credentials. They were then asked to leave. Instead, see if the casino has a self check in or kiosk. If not, leave your luggage with the bellman and come back to your hotel to check in few hours later with shorter lines.

So either go to the Casino that the shows at or go to Vegas.com?
