fun fact - 7:00 to 7:30 approx is part of where the first stage (a time trial) of the Tour de France 2022 took place. It was a FANTASTIC day. For the first time in my 52 years of life, the entire center of Copenhagen was shut down to traffic. Great walking down the huge boulevards with zero cars. Great race (that our Jonas Vingegaard later won) and GREAT spectators. Epic day as a cycling fan

The Centre of Copenhagen is beautiful, but if you wish - not to follow all the other tourists - then get out of the Centre. Not necessarily far away, but just away from the central 2 x 1 km.
