Was bored so I set this cool gif I found to music.
And that’s Question’s face without mask.
2025 anyone? This show is timeless!
He don’t got no face
god I love this character.
0:19 for everyones benefit since the song doesn't exist outside of this
Well, at least he wasn’t playing “Pound Town”…..
(=/) D
Cartoon name
JLU
*FUN FACT:* The writers of Justice League Unlimited were [IIIIIIIIIIIII-] close to seriously pitching a 'The Question' show as the follow-up series once JLU ran its course. Not sure why they didn't, but apparently a lot of the staff were very much on board with the idea.
We need a new series with just the Combs Question.
How can anyone hate it? The song's pretty catchy and timeless, which makes it one for the ages. Love how, if you look closely at 0:11, there's a taxi driver profile showcasing a different man than the Question's disguise. Unobservant fool, the poor CADMUS aide on the backseat.
Which episode was this
Dude has a whole damn Spy Disguise Kit (complete with mist effect) and he only used it once in the whole show.
I love how you can clearly notice the picture of some other driver behind the driver's seat, implying Q stole the cab just for this bit. Also, not only it was the picture in plain view, Q stopped and did a mundane task with a flimsy excuse, giving time to the reporter to notice it, and he still didn't.
Cut the man some slack. He’s not the best reporter if he’s in Cadmus’s back pocket. Hell several weeks he was sleeping with government super soldier and her didn’t even know. He might be a reporter but nobody said he was a good reporter
Can we talk about how smooth his clothes and face changed when the gas spread 😂
I really can't tell if the part where The Question hums the song is real or not. I hope it is. I really hope it is.
If you mean does it happen in the show, then yes, yes it does.
@@kylegoerlitz9174 I eat glass now.
@@TheRealNingenOfAntarctica I'm sorry, WHAT?!
Wish there was a full version of that song.
Just realized the ID for the taxi owner is shown at around 00:13. Guy doesn’t even question the difference!
I don't know if others noticed... but the line right after the plant was thrown is "Oops, I have done it". Classic
Where the full version of that jpop song lol
Not j-pop, bubblegum pop. But to answer your question, there doesn't seem to be a full version. Apparently it was made specifically for the show as a parody of "Oops, I did it again " by Brittany Spears. It was performed by Cree Summer, a voice actress, and might be a subtle reference to when she played a pop star on Static Shock. I looked for a full version of the song but it seems like they never released one.
What genre is this awful music?
I was just listening to **NSYNC and it reminded me of this 😂
My favorite Buffy commercial! But my question is, who won the role on Buffy?
0:26 Boo.
“I don’t want to be alone no more” *PROCEEDS TO BREAK A WINDOW WITH A PLANT POT*
The question didn't even do anything, that screaming is just what happens when you listen to more than 10 seconds of pre-packaged pop.
I never made the connection between these two scenes
who to open the door, throug a plant ......... I laught so hard at this
I love him so much he’s just like me Fr Fr
I just noticed the foreshadowing of the snow, for the Buffy Christmas ep
I love that this episode is immediatley after the one batman sings at a show.
The song is a bop. I wish someone could do a full cover of it.
To be honest I think the WB and UPN got the $hit end of the stick and would have gone on to today if they had better writers.
Wonder if someone won 🤔
I feel like the Justice League should have a word for the moment when everyone realizes why someone's in the Justice League
The thought of jeffery combs singing a pop song is hilarious.
Honestly, it makes sense that he likes pre-packaged pop. As a guy who is constantly tackling conspiracy theories, it must be nice to see something that wears its cheap, pandering artificiality on its sleeve.
honestly? good interpretation, im buying into it now
Genius
You're pretty good. I'm going to be taking that as canon now.
Very ambiguous
not a bad title but it's a bit hard to search for
If they put the Question in the DCU they should adapt this scene shot for shot, and give a full version of the song.
I hope so
This clip is roughly 14-15 years old and the comments range from then to very recent showing just how much people loved this show and this character and why it is such a shame the heads of DC and up don’t do more with him.
Seriously, I'd love to watch a movie dedicated just to him. I think he would fit well in James Gunns universe as well.
A character that questions the government without being portrayed as completely/comedically batshit insane probably wouldn't be allowed to exist the way things are right now.
@@averysadtire6820He should. Things are batshit insane because we've stopped asking questions. To quote CS Lewis "The worst tyrannies are those sincerely exercised for the good of their victims."
The problem is that the movie going public would see The Question as a knock-off of Rorschach - not realizing (or caring) that it's the other way around.
Apparently the CW wanted to introduce the Question in one of their shows (probably Arrow) because they had the rights to the character and he ranked high on fan polls but the heads of the DCEU blocked it because they had "plans" for him. Yeah, THAT worked out great, didn't it? James Gunn, you're our only hope!
James Gunn? The convicted pedophile is your only hope?
Didn't know that
@@DimmaryYeah. The DCEU actually affected a lot of the CW shows. Amanda Waller and Deadshot were killed off and the Suicide Squad was written out, Deathstroke wasn’t allowed to appear on Arrow after Season 6, Supergirl couldn’t use any of Superman’s rogues gallery or have Superman appear outside of crossover events, and Wonder Woman and other superheroes couldn’t be introduced all because the movies were going to introduce their own versions. There were exceptions, like The Flash series being allowed to use a lot of characters from the comics, Lex Luthor appearing on Supergirl, and Batwoman being allowed to use some of Batman’s villains (or different versions of them), but only in a limited amount and it was likely to stop once the DCEU started using the characters. Warner Bros really screwed over The CW when it came to licensing and hopefully DC learned to not get too complicated with their multiple adaptations and universes.
@@matthewjarek3026 The DCAU was hit by that too. Batman characters became off lmits in JL when The Batman came out. the "Bat Embargo".
Angel on top again?
Man of efficiency
The fact you don't see what Question does to the guy really makes you think.....Did he steal his face ....Did he do the forbidden deed? So many questions
Steal his face?
> Knows that pop bands are part of a global conspiracy to keep the population content and passive > Sings along them anyways
Question: I need a catchy tune once in a while.
i think huntress made him resonate with the lyrics.
I think he likes it because it's not pretending to be anything other than what you mentioned. Of course it's trying to take over the world. Why else would the companies be putting so much money into playing it everywhere?
Hey I know soda is bad for me but that ain't gonna stop me from chugging that Redbull
Can't beat em? Join em then smash their shit.
What a weird song haha
This is the closest we'll get to Batman singing Britney Spears.
This role was made for Jeffery Combs. 😁
What's the song called
