Yamaha RD350 LC2 Vs Ducati 748 Cadwell Park 2013
Hope Mr 748 has improved .. shocking lines
he`s improved and will be at cadwell park in September fot the classic bike trackdays event LOL
Excellent riding Sir . God I wish I still had mine .
The frustrations of coming up on a slow rider on a fast bike at a track day.
been there done that, 98' R1 and an old style zx10. scarey marvellous
The sharks' teeth on the kerbs make this a track NOT for motorcycles.
LC hoolie-boys forever! Was that a tdr at the end?😂
The DADDY of bikes MY Rd350 STAN STEPHENS tuned stage 2 ALLSPEED PIPES THE weapon of choice ,most sort after most stolen bike of the 80s what a machine brutal power band CHELSEA BRIDGE FRIDAY NIGHT'S BOX HILL SUNDAY AFTERNOONS !GATE13SW6CREW cfc
Great riders 👍
Você e sua RD 350 andaram bravamente!!! Já tive duas RD 350, aceleravam muito ... moto espetacular!!!
Some rider that fella, was like picking a fight with someone twice your age and refusing to go down!!
Is red shirt novice?
THAT Ducrappy is not very good on the corners
Typical, exhaust isn't level on the duc
I went to school for American Motorcycle Institution all my buddies rode two strokes and the rd350 which one of the baddest boys
so I was thinking, he always reels the ducati in on the brakes. Then I remembered LC brakes. You must have been working your doo dahs off trying to stay alive. ;o)
RD350. A magic bike.
Not very good at the bends are they
Brill parrot.
17:10 wheeling ?
Sounds f#cked !!
Lots of scraping on the corners of camera bike. Good to see one being ridden properly 👍
That's darn impressive performance of that RD350 for being half the cubes.
ben tu vois, j'ai pas été aussi patient avec ma 250 RGV, j'ai envoyé le ducat dans le bac à gravier au Vigeant.
Translation: well you see, I was not so patient with my 250 RGV, I sent the ducat in the gravel pit at Vigeant.
@@parrott500 Hi, thanks for Translation. Long time ago I was riding and following a fast girl-Isabelle - on the same RGV but this rookie on Ducat slows me at a narrow corner, I had no other choice to place my bike under him, unfortunately I caught his brake lever with my left gas bottle. He finished straight into the gravels. How he was angry and shouting into the paddock, I said hey '' you saw this woman, I couldn't give up". Few months later thee director décided 2 groups during 20ms : lower and faster. Good decision for less accident. Isabelle helped me when I was a beginner and later I helped her with adjustments on her RGV. Hey 2 seconds/lap
Yeah, guys, you're so fast, you're even faster that than old man on supermoto...🤣
It's ok, but where is the RD? It's not a sound of RD!
Poor quality action camera 📷 🤣
Breath taking, simply awsome. Thank you very much. I'm 55 and i still gun my 350lc 4LO. Hooligans forever.
I'm 48. Around 20 years ago I ride a 350ypvs. Now I thinking about 4LO or air-cooled RD, depending on some circumstances because I'm Russian and I live in Moscow, Russian Federation.
@@Oberon_Boost RD 400E would make an excellent choice, comes without the complications of water cooling, and has a rear disc brake, great bike.
@@Maddy1967Mundane totally agree, bro. I like RD400 very much. But I don't see it on sale in Russia. One of my mates own one, but he don't want to sale it.
Lighter is always better on bikes
The guy on the Ducati has accuracy issues!
I had both a RD 359 YPVS and the LC model without the power valve.,YPVS faster top speed but LC was quicker on the take off. Loved those machines.
And then off into the distance !! Best circuit in England.
In Canada they are an RZ 350 This was my first race bike for road racing Love the two strokes
Geiler Track RD und Duc …. Legend
The two strokes engine was smother than the Ducati rider in the turns.
balls of steel . Jack Russell style
rode a 748. weakest bike since
So much fun and skills right there.
I remember in the 60's, at Roy Hesketh Circuit in Pietermaritzburg, watching the then new Yamaha 350 two strokes (with the 'funny exhausts') chewing up the larger capacity Brit Bikes and spitting out the pieces. The only time this did not happen was when Agostini raced there on the MV.
Rider problem on the 748! That’s the only reason the RD kept up! Sorry just saying
nice duc. bad ridder
I had a late 70’s TZ250 with a works 400cc engine … that bike was scary at every speed, and would wheelie at any speed
Yeh I thought the LC I had was fast until my mate let me take his H2 750 triple Kwaka for a spin. Soggy underdak territory !!! When I pulled up he calmly informed me his drag spec 750 was much faster. 😬Ok I said.
The whole time i'm thinking they know each other lot's of trust there. touch around 17:00 He looked back like ya I know it's you, really great stuff
Yamaha RD 350 LC’s were based on a much older British design of bike, the Scott Squirrel (known as the yowling 2 stroke), also a superb racer, capable, in the right hands of embarrassing much bigger machines. Have ridden and worked on both, very similar if decades apart.
The guy on the Duc was dangerous to be around and a jerk. I too raced a 350 in the 70s. Was my first racer in the Under 500 cafe racer class in the fledgling WERA. We all are no Valentino Rossi, but we had more fun than the law allows. Marquez would have knocked 😡the Duc down for the dangerous door slamming on a track day for heavens sake.
👏👏👍👍
For fun:£, the 350 power valves are the best motorbikes ever made. It's not even a debate.
Yer I had 350lc full stan Steven's stage 3 race tuned with f2 exhaust, 2x powerfull power bands , 2nd started in the red! Scared me after my rd50.
I had a 1986 Suzuki RG 500 Gamma. Of all the bikes I have had, I am sorry I sold it and my 1975 Honda CB 400 Super Sport. The Gamma was so much more bike than the Yamaha RZ 500 or the Honda NS 400 that I also considered.
Light weight 2 stroke can eat large 4 strokes on tighter tracks due to good acceleration and handling, only in top speed does displacement win put
