Hunting "Khezu" - Monster Hunter: Generations Ultimate (Double Cross)
Khezu are Flying Wyverns introduced in Monster Hunter.
Khezu are large, pale Wyverns with a flabby, rubbery hide which they constantly keep damp, similar to that of an amphibian. Many of their blood vessels and veins can be seen through their pale skin. Their tail features a specialized orifice which bonds to the ground during electrical attacks and helps them cling onto cave ceilings. Their mouth features rows of sharp teeth similar to that of leeches. Khezu feet lack claws, and instead have suction pad-like toes to assist them in climbing and hanging from cave walls and ceilings. Spending most of their lives in the dark, their eyes have regressed greatly, though they make up for this wit...

Nice colors in video its that reshade or what ?
@@JeronymKucera Its post-edit magic BUT you can replicate the effects in reshade by adjusting the Vibrance and Gamma Correction. I can't run the game with reshade due to minor frame losses but I've already tried running with reshade and yes, it is possible to have the same looks in the video. You might have to tweak around a bit though since I'm using HDR for recording as well. One thing I will leave though is the brightness in some other locations may not fit your taste like for example in the Crystal Area in Elder Recess. The place is too bright with reshade that is why I just edit the lumetri in instead.
Dope bro
Took a lot more time than expected but I finally defeated it. The judgement is way more complicated than I initially thought. lol Like and subscribe is always greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot for watching!
Love the video. Awesome
Some tips for safi. Phase 1. If you are sticking with glaive, tenderise back left leg at the start and do ground attacks using a blast glaive. The high damage output of blast and low hp on the leg would cause it to push towards north west, you want to keep pushing him towards that direction. Once he gets into the vine trap keep attacking the leg, but watch the arm raise up. He raises his arm about 6-7 seconds in, and as soon as you see his arm raise a second time, look up and drop the boulder. This interaction, not only will cause safi to get knocked down again, but will completely drain his energy if you do up to 9k damage, allowing you to skip phase 1 in 1 minute. For phase 2 and 3 bring flashes. Phase 3 flashes are important because it forces safi to stay in super crit mode after nova. Swap to dragon glaive in third phase for better damage. If you want the absolute best weapon for phase 1 2 and 3. Its kjarr assault ice hbg, kjarr blitz thunder, and fatalis greatsword for infinite stun on the chest
I genuinely didn't know everything you have mentioned. Thank you very much for the advice on this. I'm planning to re-run this fight again in the future so I'll make sure to revisit this.
Any advice for longsword too? I've been trying safi for a while but no one does them anymore
@@willwilliams9557 idk why but yt seems to keep deleting my comment, so I'll keep it simple. Same strategy for phase 1. Switch to arms for phase 2 and 3. When safi drains energy on super crit, helmbreaker on arm when he shoots his laser and land on chest.
@@ricecake3544 thanks man

namielle has such a cool design
@@unculturedit I agree. Very slept on and underrated in the Monster Hunter World to be honest. Probably because of how hated its Elder Nova is but I also think this is one of the coolest monster in the roster.

you playstyle is so agressive, this version of barioth took me rougly about 10 to 15 minutes to finish the quest cause I play a bit too safe I think I should learn play more like that since 2 boss late game require much less time btw, good hunt 🥰
One thing I learned for Insect Glaive is how small the poke damages are compared to other weapons that is why I preferred to be more aggressive to save time. "The lesser time, the better" became my game but there are moments wherer playing safe is better to be honest (considering IG does not have counter moves and all we have is jumping around. lol) If you do take advice from a noob like me, always do the "Vault -> Descending Thrust". It has high damage and is often safe even when the monster is in active attack animation, though timing and positioning will still be the best skill to improve on. Thank you for stopping by too!
For the illustrious golden queen (not referring to KT), i'd sacrifice a bit of damage buffing jewels for having lvl 3 poison resistance, also having 20+ fire resist is going to help you 👍 ranged attackers, target its wings, bonkers and slashers go for the usual head and tail respectively
Yeah. When I was practicing, I have my HUD up for the health and looking at the poison damage, it looks manageable but holy, when I turned it off, I can't even last for 5 minutes without using Antidote. That's why I opted to using Anti-Poison deco instead. The enhanced fireball was the least of my worries before. lmao

Is ur character possibly inspired by Aqua? xD
Okay, I'm not completely sure if I'm overthinking it, but if the "Aqua" you are saying is related to the Keyblade, you are scaring me. Cause you are right. LMAO
as an IG main, anything that's "small" in terms of monster size (e.g. kirin and rajang) and can't stand still for a couple of seconds are the bane of my existence, had to hunt them with LBG in my case. Could use IG but it'd be a painstaking fight
@@anonymjet4436 I have to treat its angrier version like a Fatalis. I'm not even kidding. lmaooo
same, had to use gs to fight those two monsters. Ended up liking gs a lot haha
@@Phat_Lizard now i'm curious and might try gs as well xdxd
@@JustJustKen try to convince me rajang's not inspired by goku from dbz, except for the fact that kingkong goku revert back to kid goku when its tail is cut, rajang on the other hand, gets angrier if its tail is cut 😂
You should just not count with the aerials as much, not an issue. Ground IG has an infinite string with tremendous DPS + Kinsect cloud popping if the Kinsect is hitting This video would be shorter if OP didn't constantly try the aerial R2 and missing it a lot (not OP's fault, rajang had ants in his pants) Really quick hunt overall, great player. That build was hitting big numbers
