Everyone in my miata club was disappointed. What kind of demographic are miata drivers? usually men between their 20s to their 40s. what do these men look for? - Budget, performance sports car. For example why people want the color green? because it is a racing color. but more importantly, miata drivers want more really upgrades such as a better sway bar. Let's look at this "anniversary edition", who is it for? It essentially is a GT with the CX-90 paint but selling at a premium because of created scarcity. Miata customers are budget conscious. who wants to spend the a lot of extra money for this look? mostly women? older men? Ok but then most women don't' drive a manual and this edition is manual only. Older men don't buy Mazda, they have money for luxury brands. So who did Mazda make this car for? Maybe Mazda should have done its market research before recycling the CX-90 color and call it a special edition to try to squeeze money out of the miata fans.

Nothing about this “special edition” is new and Mazda didn’t add anything of real substance. The paint is from CX-90’s existing paint. It doesn’t cost Mazda more money to make this paint than other paints. So why calling this paint “premium” and charge more?! Nothing mechanically is different. it is the same as a normal grand touring trim. Mazda is intentionally creating scarcity by limiting this paint job this year hoping to charge a higher price and squeeze more profit from the Mazda customers. Just look at the facts.

Like they killed 2017 Hyundai’s best looking SONATA instead of improving…. They have now master plan to destroy their flagship SUV Palisade … SAD and disappointed 😢😢

Beautiful exterior redesign, except for 3-things… 1. Hyundai’s “shaking hands” logo needs to be retired and updated to reflect a more premium brand; 2. The elevated roof rails need to be replaced with a flush design to reduce drag, lower wind noise and improve appearance; and 3. The rear hatch wiper appears to be a plug in the glass. It’s time to conceal the wiper under the top cowl for a cleaner look.

So, one should assume that the driver gets no more space, and likely less. Bad direction, Hyundai!
