This is one of my comfort videos, idk exactly why, maybe it's the fact that this is my favourite Rainbow Road theme, or the sheer beauty of the deconstruction video, or the bassline which has NO business being this catchy, or the way the melodies all connect in the end, but I love this video, I'll definitely be rewatching it multiple times ❤️

have you thought about making "custom mixes" (i'm not sure what you'd call them) of these tracks? since you have a midi and control over the channels, it would be neat to make versions of the ost with proper buildups and endings (since the ost is meant to play on loop) to be more listenable on their own. some of the sections of these videos sound really good on their own and like they would segue well into the full mix. just a thought

Shinobu Tanaka is almost never talked about when people discuss important, prolific and influential Nintendo composers, but she doesn't deserve that at all. She did all of the Mario Kart DS compositions by herself.

not to be too crude, but hearing the theme with all its instruments after each deconstruction is like ejaculating after hours of foreplay

Since they've proven they're willing to change the music on remakes, I think this track would make a great basis for a Block Fort remake. It's better than using it for Twilight Plaza, anyway. (Although Id no purpose's remix that turns Wii Block Plaza into a toy soldier march is also really good)

The section starting at 1:16 is absolutely my favorite part of the song and it still sounds so good on its own.

Rainbow Road is very serene and at times a glorious expressway. 레인보우 로드는 매우 고요하고 때때로 영광스러운 고속도로입니다.
