mario kart ds was one of my favorite games as a kid, so i thought i'd give its version of rainbow road (which is underrated in my opinion) some love. yes i did also remix the final lap sound because i could. this one was a bit of a pain to work with, since certain instruments from BW2 freak out when playing a longer note. luckily i was able to find a workaround, even if it was a bit convoluted....

All in all, this is rather simple. I really enjoyed this track in Touhou 19 and wondered what it would sound like if played on a PC-98's sound chip (A Yamaha YM2608, for anyone who didnt know).
