Thanks for this video! There’s a bald spot where threaded binding is missing from the edge of a polypropylene rug I have that, and was wondering what kind of “thread” needed to resew over the area??

Thank you. I'm gonna try this. I love my vacuum cleaner, but the rotating brush on it ate a chunk out of the corner of my dining room rug. I ignored it at first, but the fraying is getting worse and worse over time. I gotta try something. Not ready to buy a new rug quite yet.

So if I measure the carpet on the floor, do I push the measuring needle, or whatever i am using, through the backing until it reaches the floor? Or stop at the backing?? This is very confusing lol, because my carpet doesnt have long hairs but if i go through the backing to the floor it has over an inch, I am trying to buy a chair mat for it and that's why I need to know because the mats come in for various piles. What does even happen if the mat is not for the right pile length? Thanks so much!!!
