they have them out for general public arrive drive sessions so people take racing line. but you could see they get in way of passing if not paying attention

had a good kart for the race, way better than my qualifying one

can't remember lap time for this particular race, would of been high 35s as kart had bad clutch and was putting out burning smell bad. my best time on penrite is a 33.6 but that was few years ago and we got to use the superkarts from lakeside for that round of racing. my best time in the older sprint karts was 34.6

hi it's designed to be slippery as its set up for drifting not your normal typical track.

@josh.chitrathomas see if ikc talks to them 1st. there other places in SA do race packages so who knows but they only allow 10 karts on track think they said

yeah i've used these ekarts paired with hard wheels they feel slippery, but are quite fast at max speed(not sure if they use max speed at ozekarts though).

@ChoongyClimbs unsure how far you have go over them b4 being slowed down but I did notice a bit were other larts were clearly going over sensors and nothing happened.

@caozikai4891 still need try go quicker to compete better lol. just be smooth with the steering and try get chicane done as quick as you can with out setting of the slow down sensors.

its not a bad track to race on besides the slow down sensors they have at certain corners. go over that and you lose 50% power instally for 200m can help you win or lose a Race.

there few good tracks around Melbourne im fan of most of them. I prefer petrol karts cause of the sound and smell of them electric karts just to quite. Unfortunately there also few venues that don't look at maintaining there karts and it's luck of draw if you get a good one or bad one.

@@CLUBBY261 thanks for getting back to me. Which would you say is the standout? I’ve done the Sunshine one years ago, but might go to the Port Melbourne indoor one in a few weeks. Agree about the maintenance though, complete lucky dip! 😅

@@mickeyjonez12acekarts in Sunshine def luck of the draw in getting a good kart and port Melbourne don't think I've ever had bad kart over the years.

This place was pretty good, I like the electric because you can hear your mates yelling, but also karting madness in bayswater is a particularly good track with good karts

@1kWraps I'm hoping travel to melb tomorrow morning to try out the new place in thomastown

@racingmad120 was fun little track but won't be going back anytime soon. you get 18 laps and when people are doing like high 16s to 18 sec laps race is over in just about 5 min. it's the less time spent on track at any venue ever been to. for $37 for 5 or 6min track time not value for money.

@racingmad120 will wait till the new one in thomastown opens end month, going by pics looks way bigger, it also electric karts

@@CLUBBY261 disappointing. it's not like they're paying for fuel lol. Ig with a track that small they can only have a few karts at a time on track so they make it shorter

@@CLUBBY261 That's probably why the sessions are so short. It's a real shame about that, I was looking forward to trying them. I might have a go in a few months when some feedback has come in about it
