Does anyone know what on earth happened to all the artbooks? I've never seen one go on sale on eBay or Amazon.

I feel kind of sorry for Thomas. I'd imagine it would be difficult for someone like him to work for someone like George, even without taking the events of the game into account.

I can say that I remember Deadly Premonition more than 70% of games of the same generation. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, I'll never know - but Francis York Morgan is a character that'll never leave my heart.

I think he might be my favorite character out of all video games and work of fiction. HOW do you intentionally create York?

this is based off of twin peaks. the original version of deadly premonition is rainy woods. where the main character is named david cooper.

couldn't agree more. York is a brilliant profiler but his social skills are so stunted that he appears arrogant when he is actually just very straightforward in a pleasant way. He doesn't mean to offend people he just comes off that way. And he really likes Emily he just has such a funny way of showing it. Emily is a small town cop wrapped up in a bizarre murder and she follows YOrk's lead cuz she feels out of her element.

@superspoon21 Totally. This game oozes out originality. Granted the game itself is a somewhat short, for some reason I can't stop replaying it. The worlds are amazing and I loved the story. It's a shame that this game is probably gonna be a hidden gem. Hopefully they make enough in sales to either keep going and make a sequel continuing the story OR make another game just as great as this one.

@Jinxxed0 Honestly, from what I've heard, the story is far from the focus and the gameplay is refreshingly unique.

@BenMonkey Well I appreciate your concern but I was not just simply mashing buttons. I have been playing games since the age of 6(27 now) and I am fully aware of how to read controls and play a game. It FELT like I was mashing buttons because the combat IMO is unresponsive, so much so that even paying close attention to the patterns of my enemies meant nothing as a parry simply would fail 9 times out of 10. Perhaps I could use practice with the system but I doubt it gets better IMO.

After playing the demo I lost interest. I must admit I am highly intrigued by the story but the actual fighting did not feel refined enough. I found myself countless times feeling like I was just mashing a button and that my attacks would just wiff at there own whim. I may pick this up some day and force myself through the fighting just for the story but only after the price has come down. Perhaps if there is a sequel the fighting mechanic will receive an overhaul. By the way, Gorgeous Game!
