The color scheme you describe seems to have a late Eighties or early Ninties vibe. Like something you would have been seen in Popular Hot Rodding, or Car Craft back then. Having said that, those engines were "built" with a whole lot of aftermarket dress up parts thrown at them. Kitbashingwise, the wheels & aftermarket Hemi represented in the 1971 Dodge Charger that Round 2 just rereleased would be perfect in that area. Especiallyif it still comes with the Billet wheels seen in the Street Machine verion. Just a suggestion. It's art, and your are the artist fullfilling your vision. Can't wait to see it progress.

As for the 'real' cars, yes the Beretta and Corsica were twins. I have driven them and they drive well, but the 4 cyl were pooches. The 2.8 and 3.1 V6s really scooted, and had that great exhaust sound like my Z24s. No airbags in them until very late in the run, 94/95ish. They were just one step above a Cavalier really, and were interesting because the other GM divisions did not get a version. But then Chevy never got a version of the Grand Am/Calais/Somerset Regal, so maybe it all evened out.....

I would soak it in hot water then push GENTLY on the A pillars to get back into shape. Can't hurt to try. I built the same model when I was a kid and used the rear louvers and IROC style hood. In fact I recently unearthed it from my parent's basement - a pretty cool car.

Harbor freight vibratory tumblers say right on them (at least now they do) not to be used to polish rocks or to be used with any wet media. Their vibratory tumblers are strictly for use with dry media such as walnut husks to remove rust from parts. I wish it was more clearly written on the box.

Nice entry! check the nose fit right away, tge hood doesn't go down all the way I didn't find out until after everything was done.

Make sure you use activator/ hardener with that clearcoat.

I've never known Dragon Blanchard to have an intact front end.... or backend for that matter... I know he generally runs a dual exhaust out the back... One friday night I saw him miss the entrance for pit road and end up in the concourse where he casually ordered a pint of fries and Starbucks Frappuccino, before heading back to the track and finishing third!!! Man could that guy race!

I built one back in early 80's when I was a kid, far as I can remember it went together with no problem it was one of my nicer builds for my age at the time, I remember enjoying the build, it set on the top of the main TV for a Long time, so my mom must of provided of it lol I picked up one a couple years ago from hobby lobby but haven't got to it yet

I only use Rattle can paint for some parts like the chassis/interior & some small parts and I don’t use rattle can primer for the bodies too many problems everything else is airbrushed.

Looks good and I like the dark blue. I built one similar that was molded in red and just clearcoated it out of the box and it came out decently slick. One thing I will say for Monogram is they nailed the factory 4x4 stance on those mid 90s Mustangs LOL . I couldn't get my real-life silver 04 GT stick lowered quick enough.

Can I beg you to build Revell's 2nd tooling of this subject released around 2009? I have built both issues, and the 2nd issue so much better than this one. I realize a hobby is about having fun, and if building this kit is how you want to accomplish that, Mopar to ya (Sorry about that pun).
