The Signal | CHALLENGERS |
"Challengers" is a drama film directed by Luca Guadagnino, starring Zendaya, Josh O'Connor, and Mike Faist. The movie centers around Tashi Duncan (played by Zendaya), a former tennis prodigy who transitions into a coaching role. She is married to Art Donaldson (Mike Faist), a tennis champion experiencing a career slump. To rejuvenate his competitive spirit, Tashi enrolls Art in a low-tier pro tournament known as a "Challenger" event. There, Art faces off against Patrick Zweig (Josh O'Connor), his former best friend. This setup creates a tense, emotional dynamic as their intertwined pasts resurface and conflict ensues both on and off the court.

Patrick Zweig gives Art Donaldson THE Signal | CHALLENGERS | ruclips.net/video/NFWuiGaV_JY/видео.html
I watched it in a nearly full theater. When Patrick did the signal, we all said “OHHHHHHHH”
It was done well!
man, this was the most electrifying scene i've ever watched in my life, i guess. i was sitting on the edge of the seat, biting my nails and just like tashi, screaming C'MON!!!!!
Its like they are making love and the net scene their orgasm❤
I do not think this was match point, more like the first or early point of the tie breaker
I also thought this but why was Tashi so happy?
"ughhhh!" "ahhhhh!"
everything in the movie is referenced in this match. art and patrick talk to each other with their racquets. tashi is finally energized and feeling excited watching tennis again. a story is unfolding and being told to the audience, like she said.
masterpiece
One of, if not the best series finale I've ever seen.🎉Well done to the writers
Missy is a Demon and disguise😂😂😂❤
I can gandle eye contact now but lying is still hard af for me and if they are uncomfortable with the truth, then thats actually what they needed to hear tbh.
Tears!

The way he speaks is totally unrealistic.
Not necessarily, some of us with ASD do struggle with speech and speech rhythms. I have a bad habit of mumbling and raising the pitch of my voice and speaking too quickly when I get excited or overly emotional or stressed.
Not true. I have ASD and I speak very closely similar to how he does.
@@JamesRT1291 I also have ASD
@@annettereynolds7457 I understand, still doesn’t change my point, each of us on struggle with different things, hence why it’s called a Spectrum disorder.
A complete and fantastic finale.
Actori exceptionali! Un film care, pe mine, m-a marcat. Dialogurile, introspecțiile și relațiile personajelor, firescul și nefirescul vieții noastre a fost exceptional reprezentat în acest film. Minunat! Felicitări întregii echipe! ❤
A avut o mulțime de momente grozave!
Missy isnt innocent at all🤭
Art definitely won the match, that's why we get Tashi's yell, just like when she won her match at the beginning of the movie. But the bigger point is first that Art and Patrick's relationship has healed. Second Tashi, albeit how low down she was having an affair with Patrick while she is married to Art, ended up doing what she did when all of three of them had the intimate encounter in the hotel room. She got what she wanted to see out of both of them and in doing so got that same fire back that she had when she was an active tennis player. This really was a brilliant movie. All of the performances were great. Zendaya was mesmerizing as Tashi.
Touching the net means he loses the point but the tiebreaker isn't over
Whoever won that point doesn’t necessarily won the match. It was the first point of the Tie-Break set.
technically i don't think he won the point because he touched the net with his body which is a foul.
I think she yells like that because she realises art has got fire back - the realisation that they need Patrick as well, as this weird rivalry over winning Tashi is what truly motivates both men. I really don't think who wins the match matters, she is yelling because they are finally competing again, as is she by proxy as she lives her tennis through Art. Its probably why Art never mentioned what happened in Atlanta - it motivated him. Art and Patrick and Tashi's toxic relationship brings the best out of each other and they realise that
Art literally loses the point, but the match is not lost yet as it’s only the first point of the tie breaker
The best example of a Chekov’s gun in a movie I’ve seen in a while, they should change the name to Chekov’s tennis ball lol I also love how because “the signal” is only something Patrick and Art can understand, it’s the one moment in the film (other than her injury)where Tashi has no control whatsoever and can’t manage either of the boys.
What makes this final scene so genius (other than the fire soundtrack and crazy camera work) is that it calls back to what Tashi said on the beach when they all first met: “for 15 seconds we were actually playing tennis. We understood each other completely. We went somewhere. It’s like we were in love”. I’m willing to bet if this was shown in real time, it would be at or close to 15 seconds of action.
The POV shot was perfect!

Crying
I can't lie. Simple , true and painful. Why? So many prefer to lie and listen lies.
To some, lying is easier.
Both of the guys are great actors. Dr Murphy was fantastic in the movie August Rush. And the other was fantastic in West Wing. 😊
Oh my God, I found this guy so annoying. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard that good doctor show was extremely unrealistic.
Freddie Highmore is a great actor, you should check him in Charlie and the Chocolate factory. (I will be posting the clips here, you might want to subscribe to stay tuned.)
It made the show unwatchable for me lmao. He did a good job as an actor but he played a really unlikeable character imo
I AM A SURGEON
@@Gentelmaninsuits That actor in general is extremely annoying
Kind of his speech in the end proves your point. He was supposed to play an autistic person, and an autistic purple talk their own strange way. And also they do not perceive people 's emotions as other people would. So if he seemed annoying to you or anyone, then the actor did a good job in playing an artistic doctor.
What a great actor
R.I.P George cooper
Rip to a fictional character tf is wrong with you
Damn! Had to play it at 2x😂
only missing the scream from Tashi for this to be complete
Lover's reunited at last
the ending is very much like a romcom ending. Patrick admits his faults and sticks his hand out to try and make up. Art is heistant at first even serving a ball right at patrick. This is like when the girl slaps the man. They argue back and forth but then finally look at each other knowingly and embrace.
Fuck yeah!
sheldon ruined it for everyone 😂🤦🏻♀️
