F4 tip and adding 0 for exact match helped. It really was this exact tip which resolved the issue

This is by far a better explanation than the others I have found on RUclips because of two reasons. First you focused on the syntax so I got to see how I need to actually enter the equation like the +1. Second you did not give us an hour long explanation of why this works like every other vid I clicked on. I could care less exactly why this works when trying to finish a complex spreadsheet late at night. So having some one show this in a way that I was able to use to complete what I was working on was very helpful. I have subscribed, but also bookmarked in a special sub folder in my excel tips links.

Why does your values in column A change during demonstration? A2 starts with 71 and A4 = 294, then at 1:21 after you enter Match formula into C2, A2 changes to 72 and A4 changes to 287. What happen to A2 = 71? Then at 2:02 after you hit Enter A2 changes to 67 and A4 = 81. This continues through demonstration.

You didn't explain what anchoring is or how to do that. Could you clarify please?

Is he still active? The method he should for VLOOKUP on multiple column, is wrong and won't work. Someone has pointed out 1 year ago, but he has not yet removed the video. Believing this video, I lost 4 hours before realizing that it is wrong and I need to create an additional column containing the concatenated values for searching purpose.

Will this also capture new entries? I need something that will mirror the entire sheet. There's a server copy of a Workbook and each of us has our own working copy we can filter and manipulate. When there are updates to the master, we want our copies to be automatically updated. These updates could include new row entries, updates to existing cells, and in rare cases, new columns.

I want to keep 0s in data but not blank cells

Quick question. I have a conditional formatting (use a formula to determine cells to format) on cells A1→I1. The formula I use the formula = J1(select the cell) ="Yes". This will change the colors of the cells A1→I1 green whenever cell J1 has the word "Yes" within the cell. Is there a way to copy that conditional format and paste it to the next row so that the next set of cells will do the same except instead of looking at J1 it will look at J2. I want to repeat this process over the next 20 rows without having to enter it.
