Honda SH150i motor scooter first ride of 2024 motorbike Vlog
Back on the road again after the winter. This is probably the earliest I have been on the bike.
The weather has been up and down all spring so getting a warm sunny day was the perfect opportunity for a first ride.
Thankyou for sticking with me, and I hope to have more videos soon.

Having uploaded a few drawing videos to this channel, I reconsidered and decided to create a new channel just for my sketching and art. I think my viewers deserve a less cluttered channel so I will continue this one with scooter and canoe trips. So this video is manly for that announcement. I appreciate everyone who has subscribed to this channel and hope you will stick with me as always, and p...
Solo Algonquin Park cedar strip canoe camp Oct 2023

Although the camera malfunctioned and had no audio, I finally decided to put it together as a film anyway. I find as a film and record of the trip it turned out good enough to share. I hope you enjoy the video. Next week I will be starting an in-studio series of sketches made from photos taken on past trips. Hope you can join me for those upcoming videos. Thanks for watching.

The second and last part of my overnight canoe camp. My apologies for the crooked camera in one part, but didn't have time to redo after realizing it, how unprovincial ! It was a short but nice trip and hope you enjoy.

Day trip down to Kingston, listened to some Celtic music and rode through town and country. I did make a pen and ink sketch while in Confederation park, if anyone is interested I could always paint it at home on a video, let me know. Hope you enjoy my day out.

An overnight camp with my canoe and hammock. I apologize for the camera and wind noise, but decided not to use music to cover it. It was hot but the fishing was good and the mosquitoes only came at sun down. I usually camp in spring or fall when there are fewer people and bugs but I did enjoy this trip.
Honda SH150i ride, coffee and relax.

Felt like a ride to relax and unwind so I went to the K&P trail near Snow road Ontario to enjoy a small steam that I knew of. For those new to my channel, the K&P railway used to run from Kingston up toward Pembroke in the late 1800 hundreds into the early 1900's. It is now a public trail, which I have camped along in the past.

I head south to the St.Lawrence river for some bug free camping. Our home area is bombarded by black flies and mosquitoes at this time of year so if you want to do some camping you have to go in search of an area without them. I really enjoyed this overnight camp, although it was a cold and windy ride. Lots of birds to photograph and I managed to get in some painting. I added music because of t...
DIY hot tent wood stove

Second and final part of my wood stove build. This is a small hot tent type stove, but by no means a light weight one. I think it will work well for an atv hot tent camp. It does look rough but after the final touches, ie: air intake door, I will give it a nice coat of paint. The build was mostly for the fun of fabricating something. Hope you enjoy.

Finding a section of well casing at the local dump inspired this wood stove build. Although I am no expert, by a long shot, I enjoyed this welding project and think it didn't come out too bad. It does look rough at the end but after the finishing touches are done I will paint it with black stove paint. The pipe is from an old propane cooker ( also from a dump ) but if I do some ATV camping in t...

Good to see you back out there and enjoying the ride. The weather downunder here in Canberra has started to turn cooler ( start of Winter) although back a year or so I'd still be riding even in the minus Celsius temps but now with a respiratory problem calling the shots I tend to pick my days and make sure I don't get a lung infection. gggrrrr. Other than that all is well and the scooter is always ready and willing for a ride. Take care ride safe and enjoy. Ps that is one good looking bridge.

I've been back to watch this numerous times, only one of a few fine reasons?....snow. For some reason 3 weeks ago when published, your snow depth startled me. Since we haven't had any of consequence, your snowshoe-able snow surprised me. I know better but even so. Right here in SE Minnesota, we've basically had two 2" snowfalls and the only reason that I did anything with the driveway was because in only a few spots, 2" of snow can make drifts 12" deep. As others have mentioned, any of your content always a welcome treat and the cash box stove's inclusion just that much better. It's not just the stove, but your connection to it and its burn. Not my last viewing of this one, thanks once more James.
