NCHSA Lost valley 3-3-24 Unlimited 25+
Beautiful weather on the day of the race but an inch of rain a couple days before the race made for some slick spots and rough track. It was fun time, the traffic from starting on the back row was crazy. I did get to pass back and forth a few times with @brandonbrewer535 but he got the best of me as always lol. The camera had mud on it nearly the entire race, usually i remember to wipe the lense but I stayed way too focused this race. The first lap was slow and congested with traffic and bottlenecks. The second lap starts at 32:30 but its like watching the race through a muddy window lol.

42 bikes in the class. It was insane dusty, and the track was full of roots and and very very rough, but it was a fun race. I'd be interested to try this track again when it isn't Sahara desert dry. T Payne follow cam 18:25 Helping a kid start his bike 1:07:15

My son Dean's first race. He was on a 16' Stacyc, took a couple spills, but he got up and kept going. Can't express how proud i am of him and hopefully Santa brings him a 50 this Christmas and he can be out on the tracks again next year!

Got a typical start for me, bike didn't want to start. Had a awful time with flame outs this lap, didn’t have my clutch adjusted where it needed to be caused several of them. Track was pretty good, other than the one downhill. Once I go down the downhill at 19:10, I knew I wasn't going to keep going so I trail rode back to the finish. First race on the Honda CRF250RX. I had ridden it a couple times on trails around where i live but being used to the YZ250X, still stalled it several times on the first lap. I got the hang of it a short ways into the race. I did knock the camera angle way down in the first bottle neck but at at a wash out i had on 11:50 (pretty sure i washed the front 20 times in this race) it did straighten it...

The more I focus on not making mistakes, the more mistakes I make lol. Half of this course felt more like a hard enduro track than XC. I did enjoy most of the course, there were a couple downhills that spooked me every lap though. Finished 9th/14 i believe, lost 2 positions on the last lap when i got hung up on a hill. Definitely need to focus more on line choices, and fitness.

Today just wasnt my day. Other than a decent holeshot, i made terrible line choices and got stuck several times. Ended up having 3 crashes (1 after the gopro died). That downhill was a nasty one too. Gopro gives it no justice. Ended up 8th/19. (I wipe the gopro off at 7:47)

This was my first time on a bike in 6 months and first NCHSA ever. This video is 1/8 lap of the start and the last lap up until the gopro died. The one hill climb turned into total choas as you will see. It was a fun ride, just trying to not to take any chances before the KXCR series starts. Camera angle is TERRIBLE but this was my 2nd race on the 125 and it is a dusty one. Ended up with a 1st in class and 5th overall.

First ever XC race. Had a blast other than the wreck first lap at the steel pipe. Ended up 3rd this race. Lap 2 was my worst lap of the day by a long shot. Sorry the camera angle is terrible.

Hell yeah man, solid C riding! We got a lotta rocks up in PA, forgot whar dirt looks like. Bikes running great, is it a little lean or does that sound good for the 250x?
Mine actually runs a little rich. I still have the stock jetting in it. The rocks is all we got in east KY too, where i'm from. It's so nice to go down to NC and run their tracks though, so much more enjoyable than rock gardens lol.

Thanks for sharing your race. Been looking for fun races in the Indiana & Kentucky area to do and this one looked awesome! That looked like a solid B race course to me. I'm surprised they would put you guys on some of that.

This was a fun race other than the bottleneck on lap 1. Got a start a few spots in front of you but got held up and from there just cruised and had fun.
I loved the track, had a ton of fun. I'll be back for the mideast race in Morganton in the fall. Might race a few NCHSA's before then.

Man that’s the section I got stuck on last lap too, lost 2 mins or so and lost 2 positions. I ain’t fast as these guys were racing so my only hope is to not make mistakes like that and the 20 others I made lol

@@kxoffroad9295 "C" class is full of sandbaggers! Doesn't matter if it's an age class or bike class. Check out lap times and you'll see many C class guys should be competing in B.

Alot of practice is needed, dont be afraid to open the throttle
i'm not out on the track trying to win overall's. I've had enough injuries in MX for a normal persons lifetime but i decided to come to hare scrambles after 6 years not on a bike and have fun and make a family weekend out of it. My main goal now is to NOT get hurt but have fun. Thats why im not sending it wfo. But yeah, for me to be any higher qualification than C, big changes would need to happen.

I cracked up when you whiskey throttled and screamed "bout died". I raced in this same class/race and haven't been on my bike all winter either. I done the same thing multiple times on this track due to arm pump.
I done that in the same spot the last 2 laps lol. I just realized I had the title as “Flat valley” lol. Can’t even get the name of the track right. Was a fun track, I’m not used to being on a track with that many bikes, it got extremely chaotic.
