This video depicts part of a tricorn (or "Mandelbar") fractal function generalized to the complex hexapolars. The position of each pixel in a given key frame corresponds to a complex hexapolar number and the color values of each pixel in a given key frame correspond to a count of function iterations required for a function output modulus greater than two. For some function inputs (i.e., numbers associated with pixel positions), their output moduli are less than two for all iterations; this video depicts a maximum of 100 iteration attempts per pixel.
