I finally just got one the other day. Excellent waki. Feels great in hand. Came super dull though, but thankfully I have now surpassed Seth's sharpening skills so she is now Husaynly sharp. Haha.
Never dull, flitz, mother's mag, any metal polish will work. I never worry about getting it on the edge, they are to high of a grit to damage the edge
This was my third Raptor from Hanwei. Out of the three that I have handled this one was my favorite. The blade geometry is really cool and at a length that I enjoy! The handle ... though large! ... I felt quite comfortable with. But ... as usual ... this Raptor was not without its issues. The blade came not as sharped as I have grown accustomed to Raptors coming. That was disappointing. Also... after just the cutting you'll see here ... the swords fittings came lose. Everything else I enjoyed. The Raptors really are kinda hit or miss ... and I rack that up to these being $300ish swords that are being mass produced. This means you stand pretty decent chance that at that price point something is not going to be quite right even if the overall presentation and design are pleasing.
Yeah bro this my favorite Raptor cause of the unokubi zokuri blade geometry. It's a gorgeous blade in my opinion.

I just bought a Unokubi Zukuri Raptor. It looks to be heavily reviewed piece. I would like to do a review of it in my typical fashion... aka ... 1-Introduce the piece and what interested me in it , 2-Show the unboxing, 3-Show other people's impression of it using pieces of their footage while over dubbing what I believe to be their opinion of it, 3-Showing my own experience with the piece, 4-Showing some basic data of the piece, and then 5-Doing a overall wrap up. However, I would first like a concise opinion from you about this katana. How is the weight, asthetics, balance, construction, condition of the all the fittings and saya ... etc. I would like to include that opinion along with some of the footage you have taken with this piece. Like I said ... this is a well documented piece and I would like to put all this together as a kind of consensus piece about this sword.
I'm still holding out for a real one to be invemted...
Unfortunately we won't see it in our lifetime.

How do you install the switch on these hilts?
Well they have a positive,negative and two for activation. It really depends on the board your using. If yours using a nono biscote 4 positive goes to positive of the board, the negative goes to where the led goes , one activation wire goes to negative of the board and the other goes to the activation spot of the board next to where the speakers go. Again depends on the soundboard.
@@armandomederosjr.1247 I understand the wiring, but I mean physically install it. Is there a backing nut or do you have to glue it in?
Oh lol sorry. It does come with a nut but since the the hilt has round shape and really don't have much leverage, what I use might sound tabu for saber installation, I take a toothpick and dip it in gorilla glue, the one that doesn't cure right away, just the tip of the toothpick and put a very thin layer of it around the av switch hole. Can't use to much cause when that type of glue starts drying it starts expanding like that foam spay.so I grap something that fits over the switch and tape it around the hilt and leave it for several hours. But remember I use that cause I countersinked the av switch hole. Ultrasabers just uses that adapter that it comes up out of the hilt. Me personally I don't like that. I like for the switch to be flush with the hilt
How long does it usually take for a saber to ship?
Well it depends. Especially with what's going on with the covid. I hear shipping services are prioritizing deliveries
Question, how did you know the bass speaker was compatible? Probably a dumb question but I am getting a lightsaber soon and want to put a bass speaker in it.
Not a dumb question at all. Ultrasabers or any mhs Hilts use 28mm speakers. Smaller Hilts like some Vader's Voult or any other smaller Hilts might use 22 or 24mm speakers. Whichever one you get I recommend always get a high base speaker.

yeah the shobu zukuri raptor looks pretty cool ! the tsuka is kinda crappy , but other than its cool . Im trying to get more into mine and find all the positive things I like about it .
my dojo pro #3 tanto has a thick spine like your raptor tanto and I love my tanto and its viciously sharp and for 65 dollars you just cant beat the price and its very solid and about 18 inches long . I call it my throat slasher
