this is my mates TA03 chassis rc car which he is also converting into a drift car this was a test run after installing a viper speed controller and a carson 17 turn toxic motor the car was on slicks so there's no drifting. drift tyres have yet to be ordered for his car.

this is part 2 of my toyota levin drift car after finding out that TL01 chassie's are becoming a favorite for drifting i decided to drag mine out from under my bed and start building it into a drift car in this video you see the first stages of the chassie build which are some of the parts been cleaned and home made parts been fitted and parts waiting to go on.

@@canfordkid1 they are indeed I've always liked the mk1 since I clapped eyes on the TV advert for them back in 2000.. one of my mates has a black one too! And definitely not fella mine ain't going no where I've had mine 11 years now and still got more things I want to do to it in the future

It was off ebay but I sold it at fordfair this year as I bought a omp strutbrace. And thanks tho the car as had more done to it since this video so its looking different now to what it does in this video.

@@2losangeles im in no means a proffesional wrapper, tho ive wrapped a thing or two, but that center dash trim... tried to wrap it like 3 times, took me like 3hrs, and then rage quietted, that shape just feels like impossible to wrap :D how the hell did u wrap it? in carbon it looks amazing
@@simonmruzek4460 believe it or not this was the 2nd thing I wrapped the other piece was the stereo panel that was a bit tricky but the gaitor panel i think was fairly easy. If you heat the vinyl and stretch it to get the creases out using a squeegy it's not to bad to work with obviously as it was my first time it's not exactly a professional finish but I guess it's one of those things you can keep doing to better yourself at. I've decided tho to eventually get all the panels and other dashboard bits professionally carbon dipped which looks much better!

It does. This car handles like a dream and drives great. They're one hell of a reliable car and once you drive one for a bit you don't want to let it go. They're absolute beauties dude!

How did you get front fascia done so well, I am having problem getting round the clock and lighter area
its abit tricky to do but best thing to do is cut around the clock instead cos after a while mine started peeling away from around the clock.

Meant the one in the box has no electronics so no sounds or lights bummer because its cool
I got two of these one original in box but with electronics and the other put on an extended traxxas stampede 2wd then fitted it to an extended emaxx. Looked awesome till went brushless and smashed it to pieces now just the one in the box and a pile of 350 shaped bits. Ah well go big or go home hey!

the company that did it for me asked how loud i wanted on a scale of 1 to 10 so i said 7 but im wanting to go all the way now lol

Hi mate, i did the centre console at the weekend, was tricky as had to apply heat but looks amazing and worth the effort. its the front fascia thats the hard part and i thought it had something to do with taking the stereo out. ill have to buy the removal pins now somehow, also checked how id fit the cold air induction and seems theres alot of plastic etc in the way, so in the bumper is my best bet, but i dont think it would look as nice eh. ill get some footage up of my car soon too.
yeah. some makers put too many silencers in.
thanks dude hoping to take more silencers out sometime this year to make it louder :)
and the air ducting mine was quite tricky to do as i put it in the actull grill and not the bumber. my advice would be to find a suitable place on the bumber itself and make a perfect hole for the ram end. mines a perfect fit to say i did myself lol but it took some doing.
hi the gear gaiter panel just unclips from the front and back once uv removed the gaiter. and the stereo panal is screwed and clipped in but to get to the screws u have to remove the stereo once uv done that u will see the screws once removed u just unclip and the top and bottem by pulling towards u carfully.
that sounds lush mate. cant wait to get one for my Mk1 1.8 Zetec too.
