Inspired a fingerstyle guitar cover of this song (ruclips.net/video/OmAo9iaJUXo/видео.html) back in 2019, I started playing guitar. And now we're here! Played on @TatsuyaMaruyama 's signature HOC-NORTHBIRD, with a bright and crisp sound emanating from the trebles.
What a beautiful melody ❤
Thank you! The melody of this song pairs well with guitar
Tab 🙏🙏please!!!
Chaos canine arranged it and played it on instagram. you're crediting the youtube channel that reposted it lol.
Tabs please
that soft light is peak
Bro u deserve millions of views
Thank you my man 🙏
This takes me right back to being a kid again. It's crazy how rich the music in these games was, and I never even realized as a kid. Really beautiful tone, too! I'm glad RUclips put this in my recommended!
True! The nostalgia factor also adds a lot to the richness. Thank you for listening
yvette's sigggg
yessir
do u have tabs for this?
I do but I'm only comfortable sharing if the original arranger (in the bio) is fine with it!
🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭
Can we get a tab for this song?
This was transcribed from Kazuki Takao's arrangement, so I'm not really comfortable with sharing the tabs unless he is fine with it. But I'd be happy to share if he is aligned!
You made me put this vid in my favorite guitar playlist, thanks a lot! And if you don't mind, could you tell me the model of the guitar and the string? It sounds so mind-blowing...
Wow I am honored, thank you! This is a heavily used Ryoji Matsuoka No.25 1972 that I bought for like $100, some of the older Japanese guitars you can find online sound very nice. Playability gets sketchy compared to a new Yamaha, but the tone is always mellow and warm which I love. I put Augustine Blue set which is the high tension ones they offer.
@masakiguitar Your precious skills make the $100 guitar sound almost similar as $1000 one! Thanks for your kind reply 😊
This is a very beautiful arrangement of the song. Can you please share us the tabs for it. I would really love to play this on my guitar. Thanks you 😊
Thanks, this isn't actually my arrangement but I also don't remember where I found it 😅 Anyways here it is: tinyurl.com/57phn45s
@@masakiguitar Thanks a lot ❤️
Once again, you have the best guitar covers on youtube man😭 This arrangement sounds amazing
Thanks! This song speaks volumes
literal chills
we have lived a good life
Beautiful💯what guitar is that?
Thank you! Martin 000-15m
LOVE the sound of your guitar, what brand is it? Amazing playing as always man :D
Thanks! It's a HOC-NORTHBIRD by Headway. They're primarily a Japan-based guitar maker, so it's a bit difficult to find their guitars outside of Japan. I used a magnetic pickup for the first time and I actually don't like this tone listening to it now lol. Might be the tuning or my technique, but it sounds weirdly sharp and too bright/mushy? Finding a satisfying tone is a never-ending journey
from the time where things was simple
which guitar is this? i really love the sound
Corodoba Mini II MH!
How are the strings on this acoustic so soft and easy to play ?
I'm using Martin MM12 Retro for the strings, they are VERY soft and smooth to play, highly recommend for a warm guitar like this one!
What guitar and mic do you use?
Martin 000-15m and AKG P420! I now prefer using AKG P170 or AKG C451B though
very soothing !!
shit goddamn breath taking 😭 keep it up gang
Very nice✨
Thank you!
W video, I'm glad its blowing up man! I dont play guitar, but I wish I could :/
Thanks! Hey, you can turn that wish into reality, learning guitar is an enjoyable and fulfilling experience! It takes time and patience more than anything else, but you will definitely make progress if you try it out for few minutes every day. It's also completely fine if you don't feel like it and want to do something else. The guitar will always be there for you when you need or want to play it
<3@@masakiguitar
crack
truly
Nice guitar, what is it called?
Martin 000-15m, pricey but worth every penny!
I love the unique little flourishes you added here and there to make this piece your own. This is such a beautiful song and you played it very well. 👏
Thank you! Since I'm usually just learning songs that has been arranged by someone else, I try to change the interpretation to fit my own emotions for a particular song. And I am very happy that you felt a sense of that
holy moly its free!! tysm 😁
Everything is free if you look hard enough
beautiful guitar, where tabs?
Check the channel in the bio, this is arranged by him!
wow. this was beautiful. I just started learning guitar yesterday but this is where I want to be one day. What guitar are you using?
And you will eventually be here one day! I'm using Martin 000-15M, very expensive but worth every penny! I particularly like how the mahogany looks and the warm sound that it produces.
This was the first song I ever learned on guitar. Really well done.
Thanks! Must bring back memories for you
Sir i have to inform you that we like the same style of music😭 Do you mind if i learn your version of this song? I will credit you of course in the description if i upload it
You have great taste in music, I'm sure we'll have a lot of overlap in the future I actually found this arrangement way back in the past, I'm not sure where I found it and the sheet music doesn't have the arranger's name lol. No need to credit, I believe an arranger or composer would love to see a variety of player's interpretation, at least that's how I would feel
@@masakiguitar thanks^^ Well i will at least tag you in the description since i will learn this song from your video
NO WAY i was planning on uploading a version of "Hurt" as well The one you chose is way better tho:') Amazing playing as always, and the sound is crystal clear
Thanks! Seems like we really do have the same taste in music
upload how to play video please with zoom and step by step i have been learning guitar since a week no videos on yt are for beginners they all are for people who already know how to play guiatr
I'm sure there are lot of beginner friendly guitar lessons on youtube or elsewhere online, but starting off with fingerstyle might be difficult. Progress may be slow at first especially if its only been a week since you started, but you'll definitely start to see improvements with consistent practice. Good luck on your guitar journey!
Sounds:; so Good, :; ❤😊:; feel like in Home
Thank you, bro. Before this video I was nervous and a little stressed, but now I'm just chilling 😅😊
Thanks for listening! Hope you get through whatever you're going through my man
Wow ! This rendition was so good. Hands down.!
Thank you!
good guitar and sound quality dude, keep it up!!
Thank you! I wish you can hear this guitar in person, it sounds even better
@@masakiguitarthats so true. The camera takes the magic away
ahh the good old memories😞
Healthy dose of rumination
Excellent! J'ai posé ma voix et c'est parfait!❤ Tu es trés trés bon et continue a mettre de la douceur dans ce monde!❤
One of the best covers I've heard thus far. Will you be making a cover of One more time, One more chance too?
Yes of course, I love that song! I just need to memorize it so that I can focus on the emotional expression, but I'll get there
Your channel is very underrated. I love all your covers, it makes me calm.
Thank you, means a lot to me! Comments like yours make my day
I own one of these and a Yamaha Silent guitar. The Cordoba in my opinion is a better instrument. It sounds more like a classical guitar. The only down side is it seems to pickup and draw out the finger noise. This fellow seems to have practiced eliminating that. Something all acoustic guitar players should aspire too. The Yamaha is more of a novelty and the electronics are a joke.
I used to have a Yamaha Silent guitar as well! Though it might not produce a "classical" tone, I very much enjoyed the mellowness of the built-in reverb. In contrast, the Cordoba Stage pickup sounds brighter and more sensitive which is probably why it seem to articulate the finger noise. I think a healthy amount of finger noise brings more life to the playing though, since the sound is unique to the acoustic guitar. It really sounds like someone is actually playing the instrument compared to piano which tends to sound more robotic imo.
Beautiful interpretation. I recently bought that same guitar, how do you connect it to achieve that sound, what amp or plugin do you use?
Thank you! I only added reverb (OrilRiver) and a little bit of EQ in post. The onboard EQ & Body knobs are sufficient for me, so I just record the direct input via Focusrite Solo and Reaper. I've recently been using Boss Katana mkII as well, and just adding reverb & delay is enough to make this guitar sound great. I used to use a lot more plugins and effects, but quickly realized that the natural tone is the best part of this guitar and there's no need to fiddle too much with effects. With that said... adding things like distortion & overdrive is fun way to spice it up
Thank you for uploading this video. Made me discover the song and learn it. Its become one of my favorite songs.
Thank you for listening! Lot of great songs for all of us to discover
@@masakiguitar😊
He killed that shi 😭
Thanks my man
You inspire me to keep playing guitar everyday, with every upload. Thank you.
Thank you, means a lot to me! Other guitarists on youtube inspires me to keep on playing guitar, so the chain is established
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Very nice! Loved the hammer-on effects.
