yeah guys a show cant be re-made without permission.. theu creator of the UK clearly gave the go ahead and probably is involved. that being said i have actually tried to get into this. there's something nice that its british accents with the cool british culture. it just seems so general being in america.. but then i didnt like the US Office at first either and now i love it so...

why isnt mtv bringing this back?

if you actually watch the entire season one of skins us, you'd realise it doesn't copy skins uk it's the first episode that has the same story line, if you watch into it, the characters take us down a different road. it's totally different but all the people who like the uk one didn't give the us one a chance because it just 'copied' them.

@ChadHively Reallyyy? They copied the UK version EXACTLY except they had terrible actors and environment. Everything about the US version seems fake, Skins is a portrayal of British teenagers, not Americans.
