A well made video. Brings back lots of memories.

$50??
Yes good but the cost is also cheap only 1M dollars 😅😅😅😅😅
I remeber when it was like that. We used to go out to the landfill at 176 and drive onto the trash mountain to dump while the grinder tractor drove over all of it. The racetrack was still operational behind Thun Field and Clyde's Waterslide was by the 512 freeway where the mall sits now.
Some of the remaining trees are so big now! 💚 I hope we plant more native trees. Don't want to be a concrete forest.
It looks terrible, please don't.
Which AI is it..
Burger King is still there!
This is my home, I go to south hill almost every few days
Free of cost h?
it’s not free 😒
Currently watching this at the starbucks on meridian 😂
I enjoyed driving past my grade school, Firgrove. I went to school in the old building while they were building the "new' building. I hear they tore the "new" building down already. And to think that I used to ride my bike on Meridian all the time. Not even safely driveable anymore.
i was born in the early 90's so this is insane to watch....thanks for sharing
MV 1985 > MV 2023
Wow! Almost nothing has changed. Loving to see the trees were still there.
i know the manager david the mexican 27 year old from walmart is a homewrecker.

Outstanding! I drive up/down Meridian every day. Super matchup of both film/video. Facts are fun. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
2:53 wow that’s my apartment
I love living there it’s so fun to be there
41 is 40+ years ago
I miss 1982.....
1972 was even better. 😎
I used to work with a guy that told me his best friend was killed on a motorcycle on 176th and meridian and he said it was way different back then …then being the 1970s never thought I would get to actually see what that intersection looked like but it’s exactly what he described…thanks for posting!
Puyallup Washington in 1982 looks different from now
My dad lived in Maple Valley before anyone knew what a maple valley was -lol
Lol
Now it’s ruined
God knows i miss the 1985 maple valley before it became a over crowded town full of yuppies drug addicts. I swear as soon as McDonald's was built, the mv apartments, and the public transportation bus line in it all went to hell in a hand basket quickly. If i could afford it I would move again to get away from it but with my luck right after a bunch douchbag neighbors will clear cut all the property around me and build housing developments and destroy my privacy and quiet peaceful living.
you sound like you're the problem lol
Great work! Brought back so many memories! Moved to the area in 77. Lived between Lk Sawyer and Morton. Spent a lot of time riding dirt bikes through the power lines. It was our highway.
My stepdad grew up in Maple Valley around the same time and has the same stories about riding his dirtbike along the power lines.
Sad to see all the trees gone.
Fortunately there’s still a lot once you get a little further away from 169…
I was born in ‘86 in Renton lived in MV nearly all my life 30+ years. Seeing how it used to look is one hell of a trip down memory lane.
It's amazing how much it's changed just in the last 10-20 years.
I used to run amuck in MV in the early 80’s. We could ride our dirt bikes from Covington to Grass Mountain filling up at 4 Corners and grab worms to fish any lake we wanted to along the way. I miss those days. Keger parties in the power lines, the pits and hanging out at the Gorge all summer long. Much simpler life back then. Fish in the Cedar were plentiful.
Definitely was simpler back then, but I do like having some of the stores and restaurants we have around here now…
If only it could be that way again
Amen!
That looks amazing!!!
That looks so good I think you should do it if you can
His mustache is a cross between… (1) “Doug” from the Liberty Mutual commercials (“Limu Emu & Doug”) and (2) every child molester… I mean “Minor-Attracted Persons”
Huh??? What mustache??
Daaaaang! What’s the speed limit there, 70?!! 😳
It’s 80
Lol it’s 35-40 but your lucky to even go 30 most of the time.
IKR ive got people riding me going 40! @Needabreak365
would you rent that out for 650 dollars a week? More than likely. F.R.E.A.
How ugly the world has become in the last 40 years. Go back to 1942 then to 1902. Strip malls and commercialism. I don't want a Dollar Store in every town. Convenience isn't worth taking the beauty away from a small town. It costs about $400 per night at a glamping ground to replicate days gone by, but with modern convenience. When did it get so out of control?
They ruined everything!
Can you do one for bonney lake??
The original video hasn’t been uploaded yet, but we’ll definitely do that whenever it is.
@@luthersaldana Where did you get the old videos from?
@@tonytimepodcast The DOT filmed a bunch of videos of state highways in the 80’s and 90’s. If you search @highwayvideos3434 you can view the original videos.
