I'm sharing this awesome video created by the Cascade Lakes Relay, highlighting a truly memorable moment supported by my family and an amazing crew (special shout-out to Holly, Paul, Vernon, and Chris for sticking with me through the tough course). This relay, organized by a wonderful family, offers a challenging yet incredible experience, showcasing the unique beauty of Central Oregon. Courage vs. Cancer: Cascade Lakes Relay Solo 216.6 Miles for Levi and CCA
Просмотров 41114 лет назад
An Oregon schoolteacher is inspired to jog 216.6 miles solo in the July 2010 Cascade Lakes Relay. Levi, a former student fighting cancer, inspired the teacher with his courage in the face of cancer. Of the two songs, the 2nd was written by Levi through the Children's Cancer Association program that served him and other children during their illness.
It's utterly perplexing that Sharp would overlook such a crucial feature. The radio itself is passable, but only when the extra bass is engaged. However, the headphone and auxiliary jacks are incredibly underpowered, a significant oversight for a device that should prioritize audio quality. Such a fundamental compromise is baffling, especially considering the importance of these features for many users.
❤
Which has more deep bass between your jvc kaboom and the sharp bt 9? Thx.
Can i use a usb Bluetooth on the orange one?
Yes.. i use bluetooth dongle, sound very nice but delay
Tienes alguna alá venta 😊😊
Hello, I am looking at this because there is provision for guitar in where I can plug in my acoustic guitar. I am looking specifically at "BT-9H", I wondered if this is like BT-9X you mentioned which have the audio drop out fixed? Also what would be your choice nowadays if you are using it with rechargable/batteries?
Dude, you're comparing 2 USED Boomboxes off Craiglist(lol), and making a blanket judgement on them ignorant to what they been thru or how they've been treated. stupid comparison, really. Use some common sense, man.
We are talking about quality here .one boombox is made in china the other is not .
They're not that different, just minor changes in porting, and obvious updates to keep up with what's expected. These are GREAT if you have a DYI project in mind btw.
Can I hook a a12 Samsung phone up to that sharp

Is anyone still selling this kaboom rv-nb10? I’m interested to buy it. I have one of this but it damaged by thunder and lightning
just go ebay amazon etc you will find
@@TheWolodo thanks ,but there’s no RV-nb10 that I’m looking for.
as a master Kaboom owner.. i absolutely agree on the older JVC Kabooms kickin a$$.. my YT vids will tell you im legit.. :)
stupied ass pawn shops always with their 200% mark up probly only gave the dude $50 for it
I just love my ✌️ RV-DP 200
What do you think about the new one that JVC is currently selling !?
They makes shit I think it's not Japan Victor Company anymore and I don't bother to own even one I like the real old one
New one? What! I thought jvc disappeared
inconclusive
This is not a meaningful comparison because the GX-10 sounds 300% weaker on AUX than with CD, iPhone or USB and it should be demonstrated from these sources not via AUX.
it also matters how many hours are on each of them. the longer the hours the better the sound break in for the subs maturity .
Poor thing. Someone told you that and you believed them. 🤦♂️
never knew this.. glad i have the old one
I am going to get a JVC RV-NB1
Its called auto mute !!! Its not a flaw .. it mutes itself anytime there is a quiet spot in the dialogue to mute the hissing and yes its a pain in the ass .. but it also does it with music
Aiwa exos9 and JBL partybox 💯 blows these away...... nowadays
Caracas essa marca voltou.👍👏👏👏 que bom.👍👏
I got same issue.. I fixed it with volume correction of my tv
sir, the problem, the power shut off
So, the black one is the prodigle son afterall 🥰
Is it still worth to buy these? Or can i even buy these?
These are good for a garage or situation where there is an electric outlet and you don't need to move them around too much. Although you can use D batteries, the cost is high and practicality low. There are better options out there with a rechargeable battery if you need that capability. I like how these sound for the price I paid.
TheUltraJogger hey can you find me a sharp gx-m10 for me I cannot find it on amazon thx 😊
@@archdebiangentoo Check Craigslist Offer Up, and places like that. I got mine off Craigslist for $40. I've seen them on eBay for $80 sometimes
TheUltraJogger wait what they’re that cheap?
@@archdebiangentoo I just saw one for $40 but it is local. They are hard to find but they are out there.
How did you attach the speaker cover? I need to cover mine, just got one of these. Beast!
I used electrical tape. I'm sure there are better ways to do this but it works.
I had the black one, but I got rid of it because the bass made rattling noises, as well as hollow rushing noises.
No tweeters!!
try a usb cable that is not chinese, and that does not have blinky blinky lights on it.
I bought such a JVC boombox a few years ago. But I miss the boomboxes of the 80s. Todays models have more bass but hardly better sound quality. And just check out this beautiful Sharp! I really wonder if the manufacturers fired the designers. Todays boomboxes are ugly! ruclips.net/video/4AQXv3lFhmQ/видео.html
Back in 2005-2008 was all about iPods now is all about Bluetooth i haven't seen no Nanos or iPods coming out that's thing from the past smh I remember I always wanted an iPod with 32Gb I also wanted a Nano series but I was too poor in 2005-2008 but I got up with money and a job in 2015 and now I have a Sony audio system that cost me $199.99 I also have a cool Bluetooth speaker that cost me $149.99 a charge 3 also I have a Sony Bravia 42 inches screen with a Sony sound bar I paid for both $780 one day you are down the next day you are up I'm grateful for what I have from poor to having decent money 🙏 It sucks to not be able to buy nothing that you like
mine does it too & i have the gx-bt9x its a pain in the ass...
Interesting thing i did with an rv-nb70. I pulled it apart and lined the insides of both woofer and each full range speaker compartment with dynamat sound proofing. And by golly did it make a difference. Bass is tighter and the full range is more focused and clear. It was definitely a surprising result thats for sure. And by no means am i saying the 70 is better than the 10. I am just pointing out the sound improvement that can be had from dynamating the speaker chambers.
Seeing as the old kaboom had the "audio clarity" setting turned on.... I would be curious to know what bass and preset sound setting you had the new kaboom on..
Both were on "Beat" and both 6 on the bass (Max)
I have the RV-NB10B, curantly use it for sound for my TV. I love it but the bass is only good to 4 otherwise the neighbor apartments complain :)
Lol yep I got a couple knocks at the door
It makes it hard to review with your beat ...
There's nothing wrong with mines..I own the same one, could be something wrong with yours..may be a failure in manufacturer
Carlos Colon It's possible you have the GX-BT9X while I have the GX-BT9 and yours is the version where they fixed this problem. It only is a problem on mine when there is talking with no music (like when watching the news).
RV-NB10B Better sound
En la gxbt9 se puede escuchar youtube por bluetooth? ¿
Puede escuchar You Tube perfecto con Bluetooth.
Eric Salkeld thankyou👍
I haven't had that happen yet. Mine has worked very well other than the charging port geting loose.
has yours ever done the beep pause while playing music?
Manufacturers should keep this shape of products even the technology is advancing. Its nice to see a portable boombox in the house with present technology. Most of the common portable bluetooth speakers looks like a toy. Imagine a portable boombox operated by Android or iOS in your house.
Hi can you tell me what you used on the ends covering the subwoofer to help protect them and how you got them to hold on there, and the measurement of what ever you used to cover them.
Mona Cherice Galliardt The covers I used were from another boombox. I put them on there with electrical tape. Another thing that works is to buy the thickest window screen you can find and cut out. You can use electrical tape to attach over the subwoofer.
Thank you so much
Can I have your speaker if you don't want it?
Thanks for the demo. I just found a JVC RV-NB10W, which is the white version at my local Goodwill for $24.99. A little dirty, but it sounds great! Glad I lucked out and got the right one. Regards, Tom
THOMMGB That's a great deal - I bought the RV-NB-10B for $55 off Craigslist and a RV-NB-20B for $50 off Craigslist-both in great condition. I sold the RV-NB-70 on eBay recently and don't miss it at all.
I spent last night cleaning this monster up and it looks much much better. The white color makes it look like something NASA would put into orbit. The volume worked correctly, but the knob was quite loose, so loose it almost appeared broken. All that was needed to repair the volume control was to remove the knob and tighten up the very loose securing nut. The volume control works like new again. Everything works on this thing. I'm very pleased. My next goal is to find a remote control so I'll be able to access even more features.
Hi Eric, great video, how does the Sharp GXBT9H compare with your JVC NB10 thanks, not sure which of the two to get thanks
I had a little problem with my sharp gx bt9. I bought it to watch movies too, but I found a problem. when I use the Audio in and the sound of the movie lowers, the sharp gx bt9 cuts the audio. this way it keeps cutting the low-volume audio all the time. Do you have this same problem? Is it a defect in my product or is it a generic problem? ** BT works normally!
This happens to me, and it drives me nuts! I bought it for when I DJ friends' house parties, and whenever there is a quiet moment in the song I'm playing, there is always a split second delay before the music kicks back in. Your comment is the first time I've seen anyone else mention this bug.
I can confirm that I now have this problem as well. It happens when watching a news program when people are talking. It doesn't happen on other systems I have plugged into the same television. The Bluetooth works well. My guess is that this is a defect and if it is, it's a major strike against the Sharp GX-BT9 and it should be fixed. I agree--it is very annoying.
Maybe if you use the guitar input like an aux, fix that problem, if not, try bluetooth conexion and works well
Matheus Leandro Amorim Souza no it is not a problem...when you use a auxiliary cable the sound quality lowers....I don't have this speaker but I can tell that bt is the best way to listen to your music...it has the least latency and is louder...so it is not a defect
Awesome video man. I had an older kaboom box... I had to save my money for almost an entire year when I was fourteen to be able to afford the almost four hundred dollar price tag (three hundred plus tax and the aftermarket warranty). I loved it so much.
