I love that I stumbled upon this video, I've been looking for more content creators talking about the Yuka app, almost wanna start making videos myself because there's just not enough people talking about it, it is a great tool to help people make more conscious decisions as consumers without having to look up every single ingredient on your own. There are discrepancies on how it doesn't take the amounts of the ingredients into consideration and just tells you that its in there, which I still feel is helpful regardless, I'm not trying to rub endocrine disruptors or cancer causing agents on my body, even in small amounts. It was developed by Benoit and Francois Martin and Julie Chapon who live in France, and is based off the European Food Safety Authority, the National Agency for Food and Occupational Health Safety, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, and also from recognized European scientific studies, and the fact that the continent of Europe obviously cares about their citizens more than the United States does, I am most definitely going to listen. I.e. Mountain Dew is terrible for you and they have banned the sale of it there, also artificial dyes in foods which cause a plethora of health issues but are still readily available in the US and consumed regularly by the masses, there's so much more but I will run out of space on this comment. Anyone discussing this app or its findings get told they are fear mongering and that is just not true, people are trying to make others aware of the findings and help others live a more clean product/food lifestyle and the fact that people are saying its not based on science when it literally is really bothers me but I digress. Thank you for putting your information out there, we need more people doing this. ALSO: Phenoxyethanol or ethylene glycol is a preservative and is considered safe in concentrations under 1%, but when it is being used over long periods of time it can still be harmful even from small doses. I for one am happy that this app exists and will continue to use it for the rest of my life.

I have very bad irregular periods. Means I can go anywhere from 3 months until well over a year with no cycle. So I recently when to the obgyn doctor for help with this. They did a vaginal ultrasound. The results said I probably have Bicornuate Uterus. They said online it caused by development issues of uterus during pregnancy and that it’s a rare birth defect. I have never been pregnant but I would like have a child someday so I’m wondering how this will effect me.

I’ve been diagnosed with a BU too after 5 years of an IUD and randomly getting pregnant on it if the 5th year (ended in a MC at 6 weeks right before removing the IUD). I’ve honestly never had bad periods or any issues that would make me think I have a BU. I wonder if that’s not a correct diagnosis. They only diagnosed me via 2D US. I’m pregnant again with my first rainbow baby (4-5 weeks) and I’m super worried about how this one will play out.

I am also one of those unique women who have heart shaped or bicornuate uterus but guess what I figured out after having three healthy kids without any abnormalities and miscarriage and my doctor told me that it’s a miracle 🥰. Now when I listen about all the scary things, I feel blessed that I didn’t go through with all that .

Bath + Body Works recently came to a selection of UK stores so I bought a couple of body washes, shocked to discover they got a 0 out of a 100 even the moisturising ones in the big tubes. Some of the ingredients listed are thought to cause endocrine disruption. Some of the less pricey body washes and soaps got an 86 out of 100 though so I feel some of the higher end products may actually be more harmful to health even though they are marketed as kind to skin and safe, etc.

Our system is only backwards because we are not following our constitution. This isn’t just on the government. This is on us citizens who don’t redress our grievances property, or at all.

While I do believe this app over exaggerates a little I appreciate it calling out things could be dangerous. It defiantly is giving me a wake up call.

I have both a bio-caronate uterus and PCOS. So when I get pregnant its so hard to know until its to late and it usually ends in miscarriage.. This has happened two times in terms of it being diagnosed but to be honest i have sadly probably had more very early on miscarriages and just associated it with my condition. I am considering doing the surgery but I am scared of scarring and then never ever be able to get pregnant.. :(

I had my uterus filled with dye to show the shape of it and they still didn't figure it out! It wasn't until after 6 years of infertility that we got pregnant with our first and I started bleeding so I went to the Dr and they told me I was having an ectopic pregnancy and they wanted to schedule me for surgery immediately. I insisted on a second opinion and I'm glad I did! I went to the specialist the same afternoon and immediately he said "Nope, you have a complete bicornuate uterus so that explains the bleeding!" We also had a few losses before our first. I have 2 healthy kids now and had both at 38 weeks via vaginal birth! And you are correct about the way the uterus grows during pregnancy, both of my kids were in the right horn and the left horn stayed little and eventually once my uterus got big enough that the right horn took over my abdomen and tilted back so it twisted. I always had painful and very heavy periods. They also told me that because we have 2 horns, both sides contract and shed their lining so there's twice the pain and blood. My first child was perfectly healthy and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. My son however had intra uterine growth restriction and stopped growing at 33 weeks. He was born very healthy otherwise at 37 weeks 5 days and he was teeny tiny! He couldn't fit in newborn clothes or diapers so we had to go out and buy all new premie clothes. I bled for the first trimester with both kids because the other horn was still shedding it's lining. With a complete bicornuate uterus, the split goes all the way down but I only have one cervix. Some only have a split that goes half way down. So I guess it depends on that!

I discovered I had a Bicornunate uterus during my c-section 40 years ago. Back then sonograms we’re not route like they are today so I wasn’t offered one. In my last month of pregnancy when the doctor checked vaginally, she felt feet at my cervix, which alarmed her. Since it was my first pregnancy I didn’t know what I should expect so I didn’t tell her that I felt my baby’s head under my rib bone for months. My sonogram showed my baby was sitting with his legs crossed deep in my pelvis and was not able to turn. I was scheduled for a c-section in two weeks, but went into labor a few days earlier. During the procedure, my doctor assisted the surgeon, her first response was “well at least we know she can get pregnant!” I didn’t know I was a high risk pregnancy. My son came into the world crying like a champ. My doctor called for an Orthopedic Pediatrician to check my baby’s legs (the were very curved), and his hips. He gave my Dr. his prognosis, my son would never walk, his hips had atrophied in the womb. My Dr. told me to triple diaper him, (1 disposable and 2 cloth) which kept his hips constantly stretched. Each visit she would check his flexibility and each visit it was better. After several months, she was satisfied with his progress and my son no longer need to be triple diapered. That’s when she told me about the Orthopedic doctors prognosis. I was stunned. I’m glad she hadn’t said anything before, I just would have worried. Over the years my son would compete in Triathlons, run marathons, even participated in a half Iron Man competition. His feet have a bit of a “toe out” when he walks and people have made comments , I just smile and think you have no idea how far he’s come to make it here!
