Is this a Hitachi UH 801? What is that cylinder directly above the arm cylinder and what is its function? Where is this at? Neither this operator, nor the guy on the camera seem to know how to wipe their asses, when it comes to their respective tasks. Does this explain why he keeps reaching his empty bucket out, at full extension, as he comes toward the cut face?
Not sure what model this is but I would think that it has twin hydraulic cylinders for the arm/stick

@@pachagrun5591 As far as taking a chance with keeping his job, you're coldly right. It's definitely not a recommended practice, if one wants to keep his job, though.
That is how you lose a job by setting up your truck with no load in the bucket!

@@ShannonFreng no need to explain to me. My comment was meant to agree - I.e. $4million excavator; $1.5 million truck and you are sitting there with an empty bucket? Add in the processing mill, probably approaching $15 million in equipment waiting on the operator. With an IRR of 20%, that’s $1,500 an hour in costs, waiting for the operator to wake up.
