I am now a guru. There is a guru bar but when I click on it, it says “oops! Looks like today’s challenges have been claimed. New challenges can be added at any time, so check back regularly.” It has been this way the three days I have been guru. Is that normal?

Really appreciate these videos...a little hard to figure it out when part of the "game" is to hide how it works, and the "game" part. I know how to take photos (and that I will spend my life always working for "better"), but not how to play the game. I was hoping to know when the best time to boost is.

Hi, i am a master level in GS and i used to struggle to be the first at the best time. I still try to figure the logarithm like best time to swap, what guru pick and so. I’ve got pick many time by guru but still i can’t reach to be the first. The suck is when the winner has bad quality of their picture sometimes i found even cheater won the challenge. If you can explain me how to be a guru as you did :D

How do I know if the percentage If guru shots conceal the number of people in the challenge I have emailed them 3 times without reply?

I think gurushots is a complete waste of time. It's very pay to win. You are much better off taking some Photography classes or doing more Photography than spending any time on gurushots.

Immobilienpreise aufgrund der "Münchner" für einheimische auch mit Gutem Geld nicht mehr Realisierbar !!! Schuld sind selbstverständlich die Geldgierigen Landshuter selbst, die an diese gut zahlenden Leuten verkaufen...Münchner , Geldgierige Landshuter , Bauträger, sowie die große Anzahl an Ausländer verändern diese Schöne Stadt Brutalst ins Negative ...Geldgier zerstört vieles , beim Charakter fängts an ! I'm in the Champion level and I'm getting my share of top 10 and 20 percent finishes but I'm having a helluva time getting a top 5% finish. Anybody got any tips?

Cropping I use the RULE of Thirds, it works! Divide your shot in 3 and look at the middle part, as this is what will be used. It is the same as your banner picture concept! (Great Video)

Hi Victor, great videos! I made guru a few months ago and wrote to them 3 times to activate the create challenges bar. They said its activated, but it still gets that sorry message. I really don't know why it wont activate and they wont tell me. Could it be a computer problem? Everything else on gurushots page works perfect.

Great intro to Gurushots. From last month when I first started to now, my photography skills has improved tremendously. I'm already at an Expert level and pretty soon, I'll be a champion with a few more GS points. One thing I love about Gurushots are the amount of challenges you can enter. There is always a challenge for something. It's almost impossible to get bored in Gurushots. One day I plan on becoming a Guru and teach other people not only on how to become a guru, but to improve his/her photography skills.

If you're going to do a travelogue, it would be helpful to do some running commentary on what you are seeing. I happened to have lived there for 3 years back in the mid 1950s (my father was stationed there with the Air Force) and the town center has changed little, except it's a lot cleaner and less grimey looking. We lived on the other side of the Lech on what was called the Kaserne. It was used during the War to house German soldiers, but was converted to U.S. housing afterwards. Right after the War it was used to house prisoners of the concentration camp that was just out of town about 2 miles up the road. Hitler also was imprisoned in another location closer to the river in the 20s, and wrote (dictated) Mein Kampf while a prisoner. There's a lot of history you failed to even touch on, basically because you said nothing. Interesting video, but not very inspiring.
