Welding Table Caster Upgrade
Upgrading the casters on the welding table. No more stem casters in my shop! I have found that all the stem casters I have bought for any application in my shop have failed miserably. I have made sure to get casters that were rated for more weight than I would ever put on them. And they all simply failed. I am moving to all plate casters for a better caster design and build and a longer lasting product overall.
If you'er wondering where I am getting all my casters I will leave a link to them below.
I simply buy them all with my own money and they are just quality casters built to last and perform. This is not a sponsorship in any form just a plug to all of you to a quality source for soli...

Smoker Wood Rack with Kindling Bin
Просмотров 69Месяц назад
I built this to better organize the space on my small porch area. This way I could have the wood for my smoker easy to get to and readily available when needed. I raised it up on blocks to keep the majority of the feet out of the water in the rainy seasons. Wood racks can built in any configuration that fits ones needs. If you are looking to build a wood rack, hopefully this will give you a lit...

You change the back drops to any color or design you like by just switching them out. You simply design the back drops you want and change them out as you need. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination. Hope everyone enjoys the build. Thanks to all of ...
100" Shop Rack with Lighting

Wanted to add storage and lighting to the workbench area and this was the solution. We will be adding an additional shelf incorporated into the rack at a later date to support the small parts drawers on the wall. Shop Stool Upgrade
Просмотров 1222 месяца назад
Bought the stool from Amazon and it had a cheap plastic seat that broke soon after using it in the shop. So it was time to upgrade the shop stool to the way it should have been from the beginning with a metal tractor. I also added a premium set of casters to make it more mobile in the shop. Enjoy the video and let us know what you think. Music Credits: RUclips Library, Big Blues by Audionautix ...
Quickie Shelves that do not need to be permanently mounted to walls. Best solution.
Просмотров 1853 месяца назад
I Built these shelves to be removed in the future and not to be permanently installed to existing structure. Great for rental spaces where you need to maximize the space available without mounting them to the structure and leaving them behind. If you have ant questions about the tools we use or other questions about the channel leave us a message ask we will be glad to get back to you. Thanks f...
Mobile Base and Facelift for Drill Press Part 2
Просмотров 1703 месяца назад
Coming back to the Mobile base and facelift for the drill press to complete the base and facelift for the 15 year old 12 speed Craftsman drill press. Wanted to have the ability to pull out the drill press when needed on a mobile base instead of dragging it out on the old base and having to wrestle it every time I needed to use it. I am going to add a set of cabinets on the bottom of the base at...
Mobile Base and Facelift for the Drill Press
Просмотров 1593 месяца назад
Started the build of the mobile base for this 15 Year old Craftsman 12 Speed Drill Press and decided to give the Ol' Girl a facelift and make her pretty again. Took it all apart and went through everything to make sure all the parts were good and did not need replacing. Cleaned everything up and got it all working smooth again. The only thing we replaced were the washers for the motor to the mou...
Deck Build off of back porch.
Просмотров 2324 месяца назад
Built this to get us out of the dirt that was under the porch awning. Make a nice place for us to relax and enjoy. Deck was 85" x 85" all from treated 2x4 lumber sourced from a local supplier. Nine concrete blocks to distribute the load evenly across the deck. Small step at the front just to keep the frame in the middle of the concrete blocks for support. Hope everyone enjoys. Have an awesome day!
Rain Collection System / Wrapping it up!
Просмотров 1114 месяца назад
Wrapping up the Rain Collection System. This is a huge addition to the be able to water the plants and vegetables without having all the chemicals in our water. The big reason we did this was to avoid all the chemicals that the cities are putting in their water systems to call it safe. This way we have complete control of the water that is used on our plants and in the garden. The vegetables, f...
Rain Collection One of Two

Building this rain collection system to provide a more natural source of water for the plants and the vegetables in the garden. This way we are not using the chlorinated water from the city. There are many ways to collect rain water. This is the one that we chose. Hope you enjoy the video and I hope this will be helpful to whom ever needs it. Part two, The Final Cut will be out soon. I will als...
Plant Table for the potted plants.
Просмотров 1104 месяца назад
Built this to get the potted plants off the ground and away from ants and other pests. Makes them easier to work on and take care of. Not having to bend over is a huge plus. Also when moving the bigger pots you can get a better grasp on them to move them and not hurt yourself as easy. Directional arrow sign made from scraps in the shop.
Просмотров 1994 месяца назад
Using up some of the scraps in my shop to create this directional arrow sign. Had a bunch of cut-offs from another project that left all these angled corners. Time to put them to use. I had a custom template made for the signage and painted that on and sealed it with poly urethane and attached it to the fence. Links for custom sign: www.craftcuts.com
An improvement on the previous version for sifting the soils for your garden or planting needs..
Просмотров 394 месяца назад
This is an improvement on the previous version of the Garden screen sifter. This has the 1/4" mesh cloth to prevent larger items from getting through and back into your potting or garden soil mixes. Helps keep out the unwanted materials that are commonly found as fillers in your potting or soil mixes. Hope everyone enjoys the video. Thank you all.
Couch Spacer

Exact fit dado jig for small or large routers
Really cool and well shot video, Ron! Ive been wanting a drill press myself, hope to get one someday. Yours is all set up for success now!
Thanks David. This video started out as just a mobile base build for the drill press and turned into a whole production on the refurbishing and giving the old girl a face lift during the process. LOL
Doing a great job Ron, jope 2024 jas been good for you so far! I hope the projects are going well, the welding cart so far has been awesome!
Thanks. I am excited to get back to the welding cart and get her finished. This is what started the channel. It's funny to think that a year has already gone by. Thanks for giving me the final push to get this all started.
Great video~! Exactly the solution I've been needing to do for several of our closets. Stacking things is just not the way since things on top attack you when going into the closet. Ask me how I know. ;-) Thanks for sharing~!
LOL. I bet I already know! LOL. Glad this is a help to you. Thanks for watching.
Great work! My wife has a few different succulent in planters and this would be a good solution
Awesome! It was a simple build. I made sure to build the legs sturdy enough to last and I used Treated lumber to deter ants and other pest. Let me know if you decide to build it or have any questions. Thanks again.
The cross grain layout was a nice touch. Really makes it stand out in that shape.
Thank you. Always trying to bring things to live as much as possible. Thanks for the comment.
Enjoyed watching you project - you've made a great job of it. It would have been good if you had shared wood thickness and measurements you made yours too
Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. I used. 1/2 inch veneer core plywood or 12 mm which ever you prefer. It can be made of what ever material you have. I made mine from this as it was what I had and I wanted it to be lighter in weight. Thanks again I hope this helps.
I used standard 3/4 Veneer core plywood. I will get the other measurements to out to everyone. Thanks for the feedback.
Great job!
Thanks!
Awesome job, thanks for sharing!👍🏼
Thank you.
Looks good so far! Like that handles and hooks turned on edge gives a nice aesthetic....
Thank you. Tossed around several ideas for those. I thought this would be unique.
Glad to see you back, Ron!! Great video man, project looks very solid.
Thanks David. Glad to be back in the shop. Sometimes other things have to take precedence. Will be back on track for the foreseeable future.
Awesome breakdown, the cart is coming together! Good point on the caster alignment.
Thank you. I try to let others know of the little nuances that can make a huge difference. Thanks again
Subscribed! Very cool cart we work in the garage too. Check us out
Hey thanks for subscribing. Will check your channel also. Thanks again.
@Ron-FabandBuild thank you! Your garage is very organized and you do good work!
@@axlsnakedog I have spent a lot of time building all the storage and organization needed. But it is an ongoing event always. I also do woodworking and will be showing some of those as well. Building more drawers right now to support more of the organization in the shop.
@Ron-FabandBuild that is such a good idea, ive built alot in the yard but i only film cars and bikes, need more builders like you out there!
@axlsnakedog Thanks. Do what I know and what I can. Loving the old car on your channel
This thing is turning out crazy nice man! That rivet gun was really nice and looks like a big help. Those drawer sliders also seem like a quality set, they moved really effortlessly. Video editing is also getting nice man, great job Ron!
Thank you sir for the kind words. Trying to make sure everything about the cart is quality. If your going to do something, might as well do it right or to produce the best outcome.
When I was building my cart and cutting a lot of tube, I needed my tubes pretty close to the same. If you make a stand that works with your cold saw, with an adjustable stop, you can cut once, set your stop, and get all the cuts the same every time, save a lot of time, and improve your precision. So I'd build up a "helper" stand with a sliding stop on a rail and you're all set! happy trails.
Thank you. I have been designing one in my head. I know it will speed up the process and improve the accuracy of my cuts. Thanks for all the input. It is greatly appreciated
This thing is turning out awesome, Ron! I really like the edge that keeps all the machines from being knocked off, the cable hooks, and the fact that you can still swing the door open on the welder. Looks solid with a can of paint!
Thanks man. Spoiler alert! All the hooks and handles will. match throughout the cart. Doing what I have learned on the rattle can paint job through trial and error in the past. If you do something long enough you get good at it and create a technique that works for all your applications.
Coming along really nicely, Ron! Your patience and time spent making sure everything is right is paying off.
Thanks Brother. I appreciate it. Also a labor of love.
Looking great, Ron! Very solid cart, looking forward to seeing more
Thank you sir. Moving along the process making changes as necessary to keep it on top. I can say that the cart has taken on many changes since it’s inception. Thanks again
Damn, this thing is looking solid! Im obviously no professional welder myself, but those welds look really clean to me. I can tell you're approaching it with patience and detail. Youve got the righr approach to the video process too! Dont worry too much about polish, just keep on posting em and you'll figure it all out!
Thanks so much. I appreciate and value your feedback and comments. It’s like everything else I do. It’s a work in progress every day. Looking forward to creating more content and getting these videos out for all too see. Thanks a million
Looking great so far my friend. Looks extremely well put together even in its current state. I like to remember that even if a hater is commenting on your video, that still means that you got your RUclips video view from them, and the comment helps the algorithm favor your video 😂 so you're the winner regardless
Absolutely so true about even the haters commenting. Thanks bro. I appreciate all the support and input.
Excellent point. A perspective coming from true maturity and experience.
