I’ve carried a burden for too long on my own
I wasn’t created to bear it alone
I hear Your invitation
To let it all go
I see it now
I’m laying it down
I know that I need You
I run to the Father
I fall into grace
I’m done with the hiding
No reason to wait
My heart needs a surgeon
My soul needs a friend
So I’ll run to the Father

The Dartford EF86 - Kemper Profile Pack
Просмотров 2194 года назад
Everyone has or has had an Vox 30 (or maybe in proximity of one...cranked). Chime-y, crispy...of course mind-blowingly loud without a Master Volume, been there. But we're equate the sound of an AC30 or 15 to that classic EL84 Circuit we all love to hear (à la, Brian May, Pete Townshend, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, Noel Gallgher and I guess for people who are deep in to the PW, Elevation/Bethel/...
Well, we're finally back at it! Kempers, Gear Talks and Tutorials? You got it!

Hey all, It's been a long time. I've been doing music (even more music) since my last upload. Been on tour, been recording. Gear has changed drastically so I'm excited share this with you all. I teamed up with a good friend of mine and we've started making Amp Profiles for the Kemper Profiler. Here's the first of many. We're looking for our next amp to profile, so hit us up with a comment with ...

I think... this was.... the day after new years as in.... January 1st. and uh.... just a forewarning, we don't play the songs EXACTLY like recorded on the albums, so if there are any discrepancies with how it sounds, I'm sorry, but we tried our hardest for God =) - Jerome (from Canada....not ...Australia?) guitar cam - saturday night session mountaintop 2008
Proud tita is here😊😊😊
I used to use delay in place of reverb but things would get too crazy so i got a reverb. I know find I'm ONLY using the delay on specific songs that use the dotted eighth like Hillsong stuff lol.
+El Manimal You know what, I'm with you on that one. I BARELY use delay at all now. hah.
Jerome Espiritu Maybe for solos or intro leads but very subtly to the point where I don't even need a tap tempo. And to think, I ALMOST got a timeline from Strymon. Would have been a HUGE waste!
Did u use a soft pick or flexible pick?? Does it help to produce that snappy string sound of break free?
I use .73mm tortex picks. The snappy sound is how you set up your guitar. Lower action with more slack gets you a snappier sound.
you nailed it.. wat od and amp u used?
hey its been so long but from what I remember it's an AC30 with an Ibanez ts808 and the compressor on the original Route 66.
You can spend guitar tablature
Hey bro if I wer you I'm gonna concentrate on my pedals rather my guitar and then focused on my Skills...you soo sound like John Mayer but remember your on worship... Try to buy some eq,overdrive, distortion, and all sorts of pedals that suits on WORSHIP not blues... Try to do some swells and sound BASED recording like planetshakers and stuff.. And you mention you have a WHITE FALCON????? Dengggg bro you serious you don't enjoy it?????
Our style of music at church isn't just restricted to the typical "contemporary Christian" songs (Just put that in quotations because it is so general). We have such a diverse set of songs (including, blues, blue grass, jazz) and our congregation enters into worship with wholesome Spirit and Truth. I understand what you're saying, as I came from a background of doing exactly what you mentioned (check my older rig videos, and even the older videos I have) The Church always progresses, and we are just instruments that God can use in so many different facets. It just turns out that blues/jazz is a big thing that helps our church at the moment. So overall, be the useful instrument God can use, and not just the instrument that can only do one thing.
Jerome Espiritu You've got all you need for the "Contemporary" stuff anyways, 2 delays, reverb, od, volume pedal... I think its pretty versatile rig. I also like that you're doing more of the blues based stuff, I always thought that was super cool in churches.
Nice video, next time get a lavalier mic, or none at all. :)
Your crazy. You don't get joy out of the black penguin and white falcon. Give them to me then. They are gems. That cost around 4 grand.
hmm.. compressor after drives.. thats curious
Funny how u called the Fulltone....a Uni Vibe.....;;p = Deja Vibe bro
Hey can you make a tutorial? I'll make sure to subscribe
How much did you get your guitar for? And where?
is this an electromatic
Hey, for the 'hillsong' sound, they shape all their tone alot with with clean AC30 tone (I use the blend option between top boost and normal) and have it around 30% gain. Then the compressors kick in and add that maintained sparkly tone. Check out my 2013 Rig video, it has some settings on the compressor and gives you an idea.
Its as sam09781 said. It's a Sheraton II with a bigsby. It also has Gibson 57 PAF pickups.
if i'm right it's an Epiphone Sheraton ii with a bigsby installed as you can see the two holes just aove it where the stop-tail piece used to be :)
A looper helps alot to keep your dry signal as dry as possible (when no pedals are on) since there is normally a signal drop off for most pedals (with and even without "true bypass" foot switches). It is also easier to turn things on when they're all controlled by one box. It's not absolutely necessary but It does help a lot in tone and ease. I hope that helps. I've run both types of setups (with and without) and I personally like with.
hey bro just wondering is the looper somthing that all rigs should have?
you saw it!
Thanks! You know I actually realized that while we were filming. It was because I had my digitech whammy there at one point and never bothered changing the label!
Your whammy looks like a wah? Nice board!
