@@justme7413 could care less about other countries, they are not banned here. Theres plenty of videos online of people sticking body parts in traps with 0 damage to them. Sure a bear trap may break yourleg but they are no longer used. A number 1.5 coilspring wont even break the skin.

Some trappers leave the trap unchecked for days at a time, leaving the trapped animal out in any elements, or subject to predation. There is also any offspring that will likely die because the mother is trapped. Only in an ideal situation a trap doesn't hurt the animal. But we're in reality. Some trappers are cruel. Even those who don't intend to be cruel, they are still humans who make mistakes, just like every other human. It's a blatant lie to say leg traps don't hurt animals, when they often do.

Alot of anti hunter/trapper info out there that wants to ban everything. Gotta control the population or disease will run rampant. A responsible pet owner should know where their pet is at all times as well, cant let your animal run wild during trapping season and get mad. Alot of people use dog proof traps as well

Yea there a million ways to make a bobber, these tend to be more visible though, and wont sink if ya lose one. Just push a glowstick into it and it works great at night.

You can do away with the noodle etc and just use the clear water bottle with the cap and swivel. Fishing at night put glow sticks inside the bottle.
