Great horned owl is bigger than long horned owl?

Would that be a Great Horned Owl rather than a Long Eared Owl? It has the facial features of a Great Horned Owl I think.

The Richmond West Dyke is my favourite area to go for walks and jogs. I especially love spotting the many wild lives. The Barred owls are my all time favourites. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, you gotta appreciate it when an Osprey eats what I call a "fresh" and still alive meal! Very nicely done footage!

There is one thing I want to note! Until only 6 months ago, I wasn't even into Ospreys. I always thought they were a boring bird of prey. I mean, all they eat is fish and that's it! But my thoughts changed once I saw an Osprey nest in person at Saint Marys Lake here in Saint Marys, GA! The nest is in the middle of a baseball field, and the Ospreys even allow me to get right underneath their nest! Eventually after staying at the nest for so long, one of the parents flew right over my head to check on the nestling. So, they gained my trust since the Ospreys knew I was only there to simply observe them. I would sit down for a couple hours and watch them at least 2 times a week! I also saw the mother making circular patterns before finally swooping on the lake. She missed the first couple of times, but I wasn't there when she finally caught a fish! But then after she caught it, I was amazed that I could watch her eat and she wouldn't be afraid of me! I'm hoping next year, I'll get more opportunities to see these Ospreys once they return from migration!
