Ummmm. How many times are you going to say this!
If you say um one more time.
Uhm, uhm, uhm...
How did these hold up? Looking at buying the Deus.
Does either of your bots have the option of adding a second seat?
I want to take my dog, how durable is it? Would his claws puncture?
How is the quality of the build and construction?
how is the fit n finish on the Lono?
Aren’t there gators in Florida? And you have your kid hovering inches over the water?
Have you had any issues with the Deus since purchasing it?
This may be a real dumb question, but how many gators did u see along that trip....being very familiar w florida, that looked like a breeding ground for them. Great video though!!
Where is this? Nice place to paddle
I would like to see the video of you deflating it and getting it rolled up and back into the bag.
Really awesome video. I have been looking at getting a deus for a while now. I was looking at the lono as well but it's definitely too big for someone as petite as myself. I am in Virginia and we go out and look for sharks teeth on the river banks...I actually found a little meg today. I also paddle in the bay where there are oyster so I loved your comment on oyster. I think I'm buying the deus today. I noticed your coupon code so thank you for that as well. That will save me some cash. Keep being awesome!
You guys finding the roll bags just aren’t good enough? Mine scraps big time when I pull it. About scrapped a hole in it the first time I used it.
I was wondering that too - the wheels seem to small
Seems like she wanted the pretty blue kula to match her deus
Very nice. What are the approximate dimensions of the storage bag with everything packed?
Very nice boats!!! This might be a silly question but are you at all concerned about the Florida dinosaurs (gators) while out on the water on your inflatable? Is that a potential issue to be concerned about?
How easy is it to fold back up and pack? Does it handle wind well?
Hello! Is the Deus relatively easy to get up out of, like a sit-on? Asking for an overweight, elderly friend.
Yes! I think it’s a good option. definitely a great option over a normal kayak.
Thanks for asking for me, Melissa! 😂
Will the Zep work as a SUP
Yess! I haven’t gotten the chance to try it but I have heard you can!
Thank you!!! Now I can order one!
How does the Deus do with wind?
It would disappear over the horizon and never be seen again!
@@tartanrambo oh that scares me. I was just about to order one…

Just bought one, nice review 👍
How are you liking it 1 year in?
@@agrant256 I love it, in the wind a little bit difficult.
@@darrenkiehn6165 thanks 😊
Where can i purchase this?

Thank you for the video. Very helpful
Great videos! I live close to Lake Michigan so big body of water. Want to have something to bring my dogs with me too. Still debating the whole inflatable kayak vs SUP but this Bote looks like the best between both.
Do you know if I could add outriggers? My son has a vent so he can't get wet.
good for fishing ?
How does it hold up to oyster beds?
we haven’t been over many but the BOTE shop said it was made to withstand them and I’m confident it would do well.
Could you share the height from the base of the kayak to the top of the ledge for the front 2 feet of each kayak. I want to put my toddler in there and wanted to see if he can be up on his knees without danger of falling over
Thank you for the great information and real world use. God bless you and yours on your future adventures.
Fantastic! I’ve been there........
How long ago was the Lono purchased? It looks like the new version doesn't have a foot bar. Do you ever have to use it?
Sabrina Salazar we purchased the LONO and DEUS just a couple of months ago, and we love both!! Yes they both have the foot bar and use it almost every time. Have used it without and but it’s nice to have.
I would like to use with my old lab. Is it possible to tow him back in should he jump out? Is one boat more stable than the other?
how stable is it for paddle boarding?
Kathleen Freitas 100%. I am 6’2” @ 225lbs, and enjoy paddle boarding in both kayaks. Both kayaks are stable and sound and do not bow while I’m adjusting or standing up. I will say that it is best to use the center fin (which is removable) while paddle boarding, mainly for tracking reasons. We love this hybrid kayak/paddle board.
For a bigger guy as far as standing up to fish and paddle all day how would you describe the stability and balance compared to a wide traditional kayak ?
My husband uses the Lono. He is 6’2” about 225 lbs. He is comfortable sitting upright and being able to put his legs out in front of him while paddling. It’s more like sitting in a chair than sitting low with your legs out directly in front of you like a regular kayak. It gives you extra balance and doesn’t make your bottom and hips wear out as quickly. The kayak is very stable and you will be able to standup and balance easily allowing you to get a nice stretch or fish while standing up. Neither one of us have felt like the kayak would tip over even while getting in and out of it. you don’t have that back and forth rocking where you have to balance in a read idiot kayak. If you did tip over it would be easy to hop back on compared to a traditional kayak, that could be near impossible to get back into in deeper water, with the votes you could just pull yourself back on the backside of the kayak. Hope that helps!
Air It UP Florida thanks for the reply it was helpful. I think I’m going to make the investment and go ahead and buy one

What do you think it would take to puncture one?
Excellent question! We had the same question, and although we steered clear of objects at first. We quickly gained confidence with no worries, taking normal precautions as you would a “hard or ridged” standup paddle board or surf board. The construction and material are very similar as a military Zodiac (inflatable boat), and as of now.. No signs of wear, dings or tears!!! Hope this helps!
Is stability and performance enough for ocean offshore swim?
Absolutely!! Both the Lono and Deus are very well constructed. We have been amazed at there stability and performance. We compare it to the height and comfort of a canoe and the agility of a Kayak.
Looks perfect for the kids.
Happy mother's day and great video
Thank you so much!
Thanks for the follow up and sharing how they are on the water. Happy to hear that you’re getting a lot of use out of them and enjoying them so much!
Thanks for your review, very helpful. After you had a chance to use them, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on how they handle on the water? Are the seats comfortable and what is it like riding higher than a normal kayak? Thanks
I am so pleased with both of them! We had them out on the water yesterday and were saying how happy we were with the way they ride. I would compare it to sitting in an SUV instead of a sports car. I don’t think my back and bottom were as worn out after 4 hours on the water. The seat is more comfortable and the air cushioned back is adjustable. My legs could stretch and move around nice so that helps a lot. I also think you have a better view to look down into the water and see what’s around. Also, they are very easy to hop in and out of and when getting started paddling there was no awkward balancing and bottoming out trying to get started along the shoreline. Hope that describes it well. If you have anymore questions I’m glad to help!
I saw two of these kayaks on the water this last weekend. They looked very sharp. They are very sturdy. I did not realize they were inflatables until I talked to the owner.
It looks very stable. Excellent video.
the area beneath the seat of the Lono looks different than what Bote advertises as space to store tackle Did something change in production of the kayak vs. the marketing material?
Good observation. The demo versions from Bote did have tackle boxes underneath. The new version has a inflatable support column underneath it with smaller side openings for storage. The tackle boxes and their attachments are not on them now. It does make for a smoother board top if using it as a standup paddle-board.
@@airitupflorida4815 Good to know. Not a deal breaker I suppose...struggling to decide between the Lono and the Rover but definitely the Deus for my wife. Thanks for reviewing this!
You’re welcome! Both great choices! Bote produces a great products. The Lono has plenty of storage space and was very easy to paddle and maneuver. Both Kayaks are fantastic! Have fun and be safe!
Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see your adventures!
