Host Camper Sewer Hose Storage Upgrade/Modification
This is an easy and inexpensive way to modify the sewer hose storage on your Host camper or any camper with a similar storage tube, to accommodate good sewer hoses like Rhinoflex. It also allows for storage of a minimum of 20' of sewer hose. I store two 10' sections of Rhinoflex hose in the modified compartment.

This trailer has a spray-on coating similar to Line-X or Rhino Liner. Don’t pay more for this crap!
Dometic Heki 2 Skylight Repair

My repair of the latches on a Dometic Heki 2 skylight/roof vent. These handles/latches are known to fail and in my opinion, are flawed engineering. I wanted a better solution.

I hope you get this. How did you remove the pins for the crossbar and the shock? I am starting the same repair in addition to the shocks when they get in.
There are two plastic plugs that need to be removed to remove the frame-side of the shocks. I can’t remember exactly what fastener they used, but I think it was a Philips head screw. I never removed the shocks from the bracket that attaches to the hatch as ours were still working properly. I used a pick to remove the plugs.
