So what happened last week? Something clearly. A cloud of fog. And no video from last week? Political issues? It sounds like someone maybe brought up all the "woke" ignorance and BLM racism going on in the country or am I way off? And if so, why is the subject off limits in an honest community? As an outside observer who has just viewed a few of your videos here to get a feel for what you folks are about it would have been a relief to hear something about this doom looming over our country and our future as it is insidious and will just more deeply rot the more it is ignored. People need to be educated. Not pampered. We are losing our kids to some seriously nasty people.
We had a guest who was teaching last week and dove into a space that was received by many as politically divisive (both directions --- some loved it and some were truly hurt). We are not afraid at all to address the challenges of our culture through the lens of God's Word, we simply are committed to not use the pulpit as a place to try to influence or persuade one political party or another if that makes sense? Not that there aren't things on any side of politics that are not blatantly against God's Word, because there are. And we have and will continue to address Sin in our culture. We just want to make sure that the pulpit in our church does not get used for a place of politics, that's all. Not Red .. Not Blue ... but Purple.
