Buying the bottle of perfume is a huge waste of money. You can easily raise affection by talking.

You should get the brush ASAP so that an adult cow can make medium milk only 3 or 4 days after you buy or raise them. Considered, talking and brushing the calf. You also don't have to feed the calf. They can't get cranky or sick, so it saves ALOT of fodder.

You need 16 "squares" of grass for every animal (including chicks and baby cows). This is (less than) two bags, which can optimally produce 18 squares in the full 3x3 format. You must have the appropriate amount of grass in place before buying a new animal, but there is no restriction when breeding your own. So you can buy the chicken/cow fodder.

You really should incubate the eggs to get chicks. Grow them into chickens and sell them on the first few weeks. Or at least get enough chickens with your grass supply.

You are mistaken about the rainy days, planting seeds theory. When you plant seeds on a rainy day, the plot won't be watered. You need to manualy water it sadly. Too bad entering/exiting an establisment won't fix the 'bug'. Good find on the power berrie, but the second one will be available the day after you found the first one. Since you found the money bay, no more use in plowing grounds. My tactics was always: Plow ground till bag/coin was found, stop plowing. Do it again next night.

Washing your back gives you 8 affection points, no gives only 2.

On the topic of Eve's. When she offers you a drink, accepting it will give you 4 points, and when you reject 8 points (Cuz she says: came here to see me)

You also can have 4 Power berries on the 2nd day. 1 by plowing the field on your farm, 1 when you smack the chicken statue, 1 when chopping wood in the mountains and 1 you already did (throw back fish). 5th power berrie is gotten when plowing farm again, but on a different day than the first. So example: next day.

I cleared my farm on the very first night. It was tedious and visited the spa many times haha. My next playthrough might be that I wait till Fall/Winter when I get my golden Hammer/Axe so it's more easy. Whereas all normal tools uses 2 stamina per swing, the golden tools EXCEPT the hammer uses 8 stamina. Hammer uses only 4 stamina. So, quick math: 6x2=12 stamina for 1 log normal tools, 8 stamina golden axe. But, the hammer uses 12 stamina for 1 rock, and 4 stamina for 1 rock GOLDEN hammer. If night wasn't infinite, I would wait until I get the golden upgrades. Only takes like 30-45 minutes to clear the whole farm of weeds, rocks, stumps and fences. Yes, I remove the fences because it also counts as master rancher rate! And broken fences will attract wild dogs more often. Clearing out every fence will get you NO wild dogs whatsoever! Win-win.

When it comes to fishing, I guess when you don't get a hook very soon, you can re-enter your bobble for *apparantly* faster hooks? I haven't seen any differences when using said method.

3x3 squares is a way to go off course! I always use big C shapes because it's a one-time crop. And when you need to wait a few extra days for the middle crop to grow, you can easily plant more turnips/potatoes in the spot you used to have 3x3 square. But in the long run, when you make a lot of cash, you can have like 12 spots for seeds. I use C shapes for my potatoes on the first week. 4x C left, 4x C middle and 4x C to the south right of the shipping box. You will rake in the money so fast that you can buy your first chicken really fast!

I love the narration/text. You can see it's in Japanese, and 'poorly' translated haha! When you enter the mountain at first and speak to the fisherman, he has different text at first, enter, then re-enter (what you did in the tree) will make the first text disappear and go fish right away! Spa recovers 24 stamina per jump in, so at 110 = exactly 5 times. I never knew this at first, I thought it would be to jump in, and stay awhile.

Another tip: Make a big C (3 squares left, 2 squares middle, leaving 1 open, 3 squares right to make the best/profitable seed. And do all the grass above your house and near the power berries area.

Oh, and you don't have to feed the calves and chicks! So it will save you alot of grass. I saw you feeding the calves, but it's not needed. They can't get sick and won't be cranky. So another pro tip for you! ;-)

I always name my cow's by the number. No01 - No02 - No03 etc. So I know which cow is adult and affection rate 255 for big milk. Chickens I buy one and incubate all the others, selling them at first. Take the chick outside and leave it there till it's big and sell it. Always incubate the eggs. And pro-tip: Removing all fences makes it that there will be no wild dogs to snatch away the animals you leave outside. Good and fun video! This game is one of my favorite games (I like repetitiveness/grindy games).
