@@bobo404 Also at 5:05 when you turn the switch, against that back wall is a small power box up on the wall. (same side of the room as the power switch) Shoot that and the garage door up the stairs will open (opposite of the correct route). It'll have the dancing SPC-098 and SPC-173-B posing. Last time it had the VSS in there with them.

Saying this from personal experience, but the enemies appear to be random in some areas. In the pipe section, I'll stand in the middle and sometimes there's 5 dogs, but I've also had a run that didn't have a single dog. There might also be some scaling for players, as I did a run with 4 other friends and there seemed to be more enemies than my normal solo runs. I'd recommend just holding down the fort in the middle where the button is. Theres a bunch of ammo in the box as well as some meds on the floor if you get hit. Try to kill the enemies as the jump into the arena to avoid them stacking up.

@@lFrolaytia Bots weren’t added until R6 released, so anything before that will not have bots. As long as the people you are playing with are on the same version, you can still play together.

The files I have for R1 and R2 are a little messy, but I assure you they still work. Just dig through the folders and you will find the game. For R1: [ depots < 493521 < 5211229 < GTFO.exe ]. If you are still having trouble, feel free to comment again and I'll see what I can do

So basically, the game originally released each rundown by itself, and removed old ones from the live game as new ones came out. So when Rundown 4 came out, rundown 3 was no longer playable etc. After Rundown 7 came out, the devs went and rereleased the old rundowns through "alternative" versions, slightly changing things here and there while providing new story logs. If you play the current version of the game through steam, you will only be able to play these ALT versions. The method provided in this video is a way to go back and play the original versions before they were removed from the game. Hope this helps!

After doing Crota's End I decided to go back and upload all of my previous Day 1 footage as well. So yes, this is over a year late. This was also quite an embarrassing performance compared to my other Day 1's due to finishing 2/3 encounters due to bugs, and not even being able to finish within 24 hours.

Thanks! I played a lot of R5 so we have a good understanding of what to expect going into the remake. The remake is a lot easier than the original as well.

@@mangaxmanhuaking6429 As long as you launch Lockout on R5 it still works. If you try to launch it on R7 it won't work.

Correct. If there is nothing in your launch options, it will launch whatever the default version of the game currently is. Adding a launch option simply alters that to launch a different version of your choosing.

This was technically our second attempt. It was our third drop, but after I took ~65 damage from 2 sleepers in the first room of the level we quickly reset the second drop. Also thanks for letting me know 👍

Gerz and I agreed that we were going into this alarm super confident, and that bc shot made us dial in. If I didn't shoot her, its likely we would not have played as well as we did. Therefore we agreed that it was probably good that happened. Also thanks for watching every second of our runs and being there to both laugh at us and cheer us on! 🥰

Definitely, it's impossible to tell how things would've gone otherwise, for better or for worse that's the way it turned out, and all you can do is make the most of it (this does qualify as life advice too)
