Bikepacking From SB to Ojai then back
Thanks man, that helps me a lot! I'm 1,81 and was unsure which Size would be the best. ☝️👍
Why did you shorten the rear to an s4?
To shorten the wheelbase. Some of my local trails have tight switchbacks.
I have a 14 year old on a small frame 2020 would that link work on that? Would you know? And would you recommend it. He’s very light in weight if that makes a difference
Yes
Have you measured accurately what the link did to you geo? Or the differences between the standard evo, sj and mullet links?
No, I was only interested in head tube angle. Which gets you in 64 degree range with the mullet link. Still pedals great.
Stamp pedals
Just bought one. Picking it up today. I got back in to riding after 20 years. Bought a new trek Marlin thinking a hard tail was perfect. Lol. Maybe if I was still a teenager it would be but my body will appreciate the stumpy off road. The trek is still great for light trails and a little road riding.
Does the bike suck in stock form ????
"gonna need a 27.5" rear wheel"... ya think?
WTF. Buy the upgraded series new you buffoon your wasting money spend it on a prostitute
Bike weight please🏴✌
That Winston Churchill kush tho
Thank you for putting out this video. I was looking at the mullet link and noticed that it said it was only for the evo. This really helped as I too have the alloy version and was considering a mullet setup.

Quality stuff right here!😁
How'd the Bronson feel
The Bronson feels sharp in the switch backs. The VPP 150mm of suspension felt like its always in the right spot. Going down backside Arroyo Burro was nice. The seat tube angle feels kind of awkward though, it would take some getting use too. Overall👍
bike nice, very wow, purchase good
Aho yeah!
Great video. How do you like the cascade link ? Notice much of a difference ?
Hell yeah brotha absolute banger vid
良いビデオ、私たちはあなたを愛しています💛
Ty
Why did you remove the cascade? Thanks and good rides!
I'm am testing out a mullet link. Look out for the next upgrades video.
Thank you for review, thinking of buyin, its a sweet pricepoint
Size of frame and your height? Inseam?
Really nice gear upgrades! I am thinking of upgrading front forks on my S4 alloy, to RockShox Pike Ultimate Charger 2.1 RC2 29" 150mm, but really confused with the offset. Which one did you get for yours ? I am initially thinking that 51mm will be ok ? Any thoughts or advise ? Many thanks in advance!
Go with the offset that is closest to the OEM spec. I got the 44mm. I have a buddy who got the 51mm for his stumpy evo and regrets it.
How’s the cascade feelin on the alloy stumpy? Thinking of doing the same
It does every thing that cascade claims, but maybe consider also upgrading shock or service it regularly because it will be working a little harder with that link.
@@treetrunksentertainment1 I have a super Delux on it ATM 👍 thanks man I'll give this ago hey
What size rear shock did you get? I’m thinking of going 190x51 instead of 190x45. None of the linkages or rear tire comes into contact with a stroke of 51.
Do you think the Float X in 190x45 will fit our bikes? thinking about reserving one
Yes just make sure its not the trunnion mount style.
@@treetrunksentertainment1 sweet man, Thanks! You should try a DSD Runt also! My current mods on my comp alloy are a DSD runt and a cascade link. Very impressive mods
Didn't realize Cascade made a link for the regular(non-evo) stumpy. Going to order one now I think.
Just SJ alloy is compatible w/ the Evo. Link.
@@treetrunksentertainment1 That's good to know. Looks like they make a link for both versions now.

9:26 rip the lizard
No lizards were harmed during the making of this video.
6:02 what the hand doing 😂😂
Is it possible to get there by car on Gibraltar road or is there a gate?
Not possible by car. Only bike or hike. There is a gate.
@@treetrunksentertainment1 I wanted to clarify there is one road ?
chromies for life
Cool upgrades, I’ve done a few to mine too. New fox 34 forks, shimano m6120 brakes, go shifter and derailleur etc.. what size shock did you get to replace the fusion ?
I put on a Rock shox deluxe ultimate same size that it came with 130mm of travel eye to eye is 190x45
What does the short stay and cascade do? I did deluxe ultimate and a revelation fork and gx cranks and dub.
@@THRENO82 Short seat stay makes it a bit more easier to manuever in tight corners. The casacade link increases small bump sensitivity, adds 8mm more travel, but overall makes the rear suspension more progressive.
@@treetrunksentertainment1 what did you do with the shock? Custom tune? Volume tokens? Thx
@@THRENO82 Nothing specific I run it at 30% sag. The link is designed to be compatible w/ OEM size and stroke. I would like to re valve the shock.
I like the outfit changes on Brian
I like the part where they got high 5:25
