I try to see it from Brets point of view. I am not the biggest Bret fan, but I do like the guy and enjoy him in the ring just I prefer other wrestlers. Now, little billy goldberg I cannot stand. From the very start, even as a young teenager of 16 years of age I could tell Goldberg was a HACK, the biggest hack in the history of the business. i'll never understand how a dork like that, who was 'green' to the gills and cannot wrestle longer than 120 seconds, yes after 120 SECONDS in the ring the guy was clueless, yet WCW decided to manufacture some hype and shoot him out of a cannon when he never put in the work guys like Bret did that EARNED their spots in the ring. He either paid or sucked his way into the ring because there is no way a major promotion watched this guy perform and said "We have to get this guy in the ring!!" Absolutely no way. Only the most mindless of consumers would buy his merchandise. his hype was 100% manufactured, we boo'd the shit out of goldberg everytime he came to southeast texas. Every time. And when you watched the broadcast version of the taping, our boo's were dubbed with cheers everytime. His fame was manufactured, Goldberg is a hack and the biggest joke in the history of the business. His 'fans' have no business taking part in any discussion, they simply do not get wrestling. period. You can not convince me other wise.
