Thanks for posting this! Visiting Bogota next week and looking to climb this as well. I was upset because I saw lots of posts online about how dangerous this trail was due to crime/robberies, but then I also saw a couple newer posts from the past year or two saying the police presence is increased and it's a lot safer. Great to see an actual video like this!

I have always wanted to visit the famous Monserrate hill! Do you remember when I told you the hill is also famous because there is a Red bull cycling competition called the downhill of Monserrate? It is a fantastic sport and people go there to see the competition and have fun. I am also willing to see the downhill someday. I'm going to share the video with my friends. Have a nice time! 🙂👍

Alas, it’s never gonna work at 6 ft 2. But since Covid I seem to get the worst chest infections and coughs and have learnt to sleep sitting up - issue is swelling so loads of water and some walking when well enough. I actually sleep in a fetal position so only need about 5ft 8 but sometimes you gotta stretch!

Sleeping in the front is unhealthy..watch out for blood clots .Don't sleep with bent knees. You are better off sleeping like an incline/recliner position

To sleep in the front bench seat of my pickup, I have a regular pillow + pillow case then put a thin cutting board inside the pillow case, this allows me to angle the pillow against the passenger door, the cutting board keeps the pillow from folding, then I lay in pickup in a recliner position, I can sleep comfortably in a recliner position. I bought a regular down blanket and did a rolling stitch on the bottom creating a top quilt with a foot box, this make it easy to stick my feet in the blanket and my feet don't stick through when I pull the blanket over my head.

Dacia sells such a platform for sleeping in their cars, but the space between you and the ceiling is getting a bit claustrophobic. When it comes to Europe, I'd love to buy a Rivian R2, but it will be a bit pricey; and it won't be before three years at least.

I remember some years ago when I was a little boy, me and some members of my family had a trip to Medellin at night, and a few hours later, a group of police stopped our trip for us to have a little sleeping time to avoid a microsleep or an accident, we slept the way you taught us in this video and we made it to Medellin the next morning. Thank you... I am a full time Care Giver looking to leave where I am. I am in a Nissan Altima SL.. Going to live out of my car... "Car Camp for a few months!" I need to leave abuse and Find Truth, , and thank you. I bought a sleep gear, Jackery with Panels, Cooler and food. But thankfully, I work where there is showers and laundry.. Just for a few months to by a Home. Hurricane season is coming!!!

I get sturdy aluminum foil taped on the windows or cover cardboard with it and put it in the windows. And they hvae mattresses made just for the back seats with something to at goes on the floor to even out the maton to e seat
