December 9, 2024: A Spotless Cathedral and Notre Dame

Notre Dame is back in all it's glory! But, perhaps the cathedral is less a reflection of our Lady, and more of a reflection of us, and our need of her intercession for us!
December 8, 2024: Clearing a Spot for Christ

The ritual of cleaning the house to prepare for a Christmas tree is all for show if we don't undergo the more important work first: preparing for Christ.
December 1, 2024: When the Cows Get Out
Просмотров 1621 день назад
We have to be vigilant and diligently watching so many different things in life to be effective, cows included. Shouldn't faith be amongst the first of them?

We shouldn't acknowledge Jesus as King and just walk away unchanged- should we? How should we respond?

In a world that is all about saving money on the things we buy, is there a better way when we find ourselves in front of the "temple treasury"?
November 3, 2024: Building Up Past the Code

It's all too easy to slide into just living up to the "status quo" in a life of faith, but is that actually possible with the two great commandments?
October 27, 2024: Blind Like Bartimaeus

Bartimaeus is seeking the Lord in the Gospel- and nothing will stop Him. Can we be so determined in seeking Him out?

We are so used to taking in everything we can get our hands on- and James and John do the same. Maybe its not about that drinking in though...

Is this what I signed up for? Likely the disciples had that question on their minds whenever Jesus told them to take up their cross. What does that mean whenever we encounter our crosses?

Christo Nihil Praeponere.
Such anointed playing! oh thank you so very very much!!!

Absolutely beautiful, Father. I love this traditional hymn. Salve Maria!
Tra le più belle melodie gregoriane, Bravissimo. Anche nella cantoria delle confraternite della mia parrocchia lo cantiamo cosi.
Musica divina,elisir per l'anima...

Guuau prdcioso 😊😊🎉
AWESOME!!! I just got back from singing this hymn at the end of Pentecost 2023, Usus Antiquior.
In Luke 16 we find the parable of the unjust steward. This steward is wiser than the children of light..because he tells the people to repent and quickly..just give God half of what we owe Him. Why do we owe God? Didn't Yeshua pay the price for our sins? As per Deuteronomy 32...our Rock sold us back to the devil because we forgot the God that formed us and we sinned against God by worshipping pagan gods and idols. What pagan worship? Xmas and Easter. Which is why both the Southern kingdom of Judah and the Northern kingdom of Israel were exiled by God. Every prophet from Samuel to Malichi told us not to worship as our fathers before us or we too would be cut off from God. Quickly..repent from pagan idolatry. Keep His holy covenants of promise. Keep His Sabbath Day of rest holy. Love your neighbor as yourself and rebuke them so they do not suffer sin. Eat clean. Ephesians 2 James 2 Isaiah 66 Who is this unjust steward? The false teaches who have scattered God's people as perJeremiah 23. "Woe to the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture saith the Lord..and teach for doctrine the traditions of men." Remember God expects us to be in covenant with Him. Hebrew means to cross over into covenant. Gentile means out of covenant The Lord when He comes is going to take away these false teachers stewardship. How can these stewards be accepted when everyone learns they were unjust? By repenting and teaching the people how to repent. Dear friend you should really crack open a KJV..and pay attention to the Hebrew idioms. They are your breadcrumbs to understanding the story. Don't ignore the law and the prophets.
Halo, maaf saya tidak terlalu bisa berbahasa inggris, tetapi saya selalu senang mendengarkan apapun versi dari instrument ini, Tuhan memberkati mu saudara
This sounds very nice. It reminds me a lot of the version the girl played on the piano in "It's A Wonderful Life". Truly gorgeous performance. Hope you had an amazing Christmas!

Amennn. Thank you father

Thank you father. But i apologize in advance in the long story i am about to say. In my culture..the oldest got the most responsabilities to the younger siblings and parents. me and my husband worked so hard to help my parents so we spent our most salary to build my father's pig farm. When the business was working well things did not go our way that me my husband and our baby had to move to a rented single room at the edge of town and we learnt that my father gave the pig farm including the land to his beloved youngest. When we wanted to know how could that be possible since his youngest never helped him with phisical work nor financially, my father kept pushing me to accept his decision since his youngest is his beloved. In that situation, upon hearing that Prodigial son during a mass, I came to the priest in great sadness and anger in symphaty with the older son in the story. I told him my situation and all the suffering and pain contributing to our parents and yet got treated that way. I was in pieces and crying that the priest said he never consider the suffering and pain of the older son might culturally be so hard for many. In real life when a parent says all i have is yours to his kid while he has many children...usually it will bring conflicts in the future among his children. In my case, my father's youngest always got backed up by my parents whenever she hurts her siblings like taking my brother's business and taking one of the houses supposed to be given to her sister. In my personal spiritual journey, i am grateful God assists me during those troublesome years to finally understand and accept the whole thing. My sister continues easily does things that hurt people around her, now including my father. All i can do is to always involve God to help me, help us when i am around them so that i won't be easily hurt.
Amen
The younger felt unworthy. The elder felt entitled. Both were wrong. Guess whose opinion really mattered.
Thanks Fr for the holy mass.

NEVER FAILING PRAYER TO ARCHANGEL MICHAEL There are no questions that are off-limits to the angels. You can ask for whatever it is that you want- whether it be healing, or blessings, protection, or other gifts from God. Set a time for every Tuesday (maybe set an alarm to go off on your phone to remind you) to say the following prayers: THE PRAYER: "St. Michael, I resort to your protection and in my faith offer this light {a candle} which shall burn every Tuesday. Comfort me in difficulties and tho lodging in the house of our savior, intercede for me and my family that we will be able to hold God close to our hearts and be provided for in all of our necessities. I beseech you to have infinite pity in regard to the favors that I ask of you (name them) that I may be able to overcome all difficulties as you did the dragon at your feet." Say 3 'Hail Marys' "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now until the hour of our death. Amen" Say 3 "Our Fathers": Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever, amen." Say 3 "Glory Be's" Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen." ~*~ This prayer is to be said for nine (9) Tuesdays in succession and each Tuesday a candle is to lighted and a copy of this prayer to left in the church to help another soul in distress and support the devotion to St. Michael. This miraculous saint grants everything, no matter how difficult, and before the end of the nine weeks of Tuesdays.
Oh Father! That was most moving.
