Whats up with the lid?
@@gabrielladavidson2938 it’s a flower frog lid. It helps support the flower stems perfectly
Only 3 usd?
@@rizzlej2019. yes $3 !!!
@@TheArtsyGardener that’s crazy I was guessing 10-15
@@rizzlej2019. so crazy right. It’s one of those unicorn finds
@@TheArtsyGardener yeah that’s a really good find
@@rizzlej2019. thanks, I hope you find a gem out there too!
cutting an hydrangea.. what a sin..
Haha I couldn’t resist
If thats real glass and lead came, you just got yourself a thousand dollar pot.
Aww! My son loves lions. I would have found some way to patch it. Was so awesome.
Yeah i regret not getting it 😔
Bonnie plants are the worst in the industry!!!
Really? Why do you think they are the worst? I always see them in stores.
@@TheArtsyGardener we sell them at work. They are planted in just course peat with no food at all. They sit in trucks for days before delivery. You can't discount them either. We throw them in the trash. I'm from Texas and I'm ashamed of these plants. They might sit at a store for months before they are thrown away. I only start from seed now.
@@TheArtsyGardener I work at a store out in the country. I'm the greenhouse garden center specialist. Not a big box store. The only people who buy Bonnie plants are the new people from the houses they are building out here now. All the farmers and country folks buy seed. The home owners are the only.ones complaining about slow growth and low harvests. They never had a good plant to start with. Plus they all use MG soil. Another mistake. It's why I started my RUclips channel. Too much BS on here today.
@@joewil1441 thanks for the info. I definitely think more people need to know about gardening pros and cons. Just subscribed to your page! I recently started getting into growing from seed. It’s so rewarding.
@@TheArtsyGardener thank you. I subbed to you as well. I was a landscape contractor for over 20 years and have been a professional horticulturist for about 40 now. I do micro climates at my house. Use a greenhouse. Simple things make a big impact.
You forgot Lemon grass. As the leaves rub together they great a lemon smell that help keep mosquitoes away.
You’re 100% right about lemon grass. I actually think Lemon grass is the best repellent
My yard's infested with catmint and it does nothing 😂😭
Wow really? Maybe try to add another one of the plants into the mix. I have all the plant featured and it’s really working in my yard.
The catmint, basil, and sage are all pet friendly too! Not sure about the others but I do know that Marigold and citronella are not pet friendly. However Marigold will help with any mole or other rodent problems you have!
Wow thanks, I didn’t know marigold deter moles
Lantana is a really hardy plant. And can be very prolific and hard to tame if it gets away on you. I would like to suggest keeping it in a pot rather than planting in the ground. Great suggestions! Thank you. I actually didn't know lantana was good for mozzies. Lantana is a pest species in Australia. Nothing eats it and when it gets out of control, it can cover an astounding area. Once saw a massive bramble of it that spanned a small valley about 2kms in diameter. Excuse my French, but in the local dialect.... Cunt of a plant to get rid of.
Haha I too can speak with a French dialect 😂 I do keep my Lantana in a hanging basket but in my US zone 7 Lantana is treated as a tender perennial. That’s so crazy that it’s a nuisance in Australia. Can’t wait to make my way back to your gorgeous country. Thanks for watching
Hi, this is Olde Towne Gardens here, we appreciate you for making this video on our lovely place! We now have a RUclips channel of our own, and was wondering if you would like to come in and do another video with us on our channel or if you would like to make a video of an updated tour!
That sounds like a wonder idea! I adore your gardens. Here’s my email TraceyElizabethPhototography@gmail.com
Thank you ✨🌱✨in the name of all beautiful plant companions✨🪷✨☺️

Really nice thrift tour and a great haul. You could have easily fixed the hole in the lion's head with bathroom caulk. Its pliable and waterproof when dry.
I wish I purchased it 😔
Great. Aren't foxglove poisonous?
Yes, quite allot of plants are poisonous. But foxglove has ecological importance, and it's pretty.
Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is a common garden plant that contains digitalis and other cardiac glycosides. These chemicals affect the heart. Foxglove is poisonous, although recorded poisonings from this plant are very rare.
@@barrowscasper12 so pretty 💚
Do them spread though the garden?and are they easy to care for.
So easy to care for. If you let them go to seed they will self sow.
Thanks
YES! The greedy corporations want to convince us that gardening is scarcity when nature is pure abundance!
GARDENERS MATH I love it
😂💚💚 thanks for watching
I did the math. I deal with the math every day. One foxglove plant puts off nearly 600,000 seeds per individual, which can last in the seed bank for 5-10 years. It contains a highly toxic cardiac glycoside that makes it lethal to all animals. Its highly invasive and does not benefit native pollinators. Get rid of your foxglove. Plant native

I hope you got that face jug. My x pd $100 @yardsale & sold it for $6k
When should you divide them?
I think, Early Spring is best
Where do I make friends as a sober 35 year old woman please I've been trying to figure this out!
Join a garden club 💚
YES! PLEASE! SOMEONE TAKE SOME OF THESE DARN HOSTAS! I WOULD LIKE TO PLANT OTHER THINGS IN MY GARDEN NOW!!
I love hostas. I had to buy some though because no one had the super large varieties I wanted. Strategically relocating a chunk of a large yellow and green hosta from a corporate office grounds is highly frowned upon. 😂
Haha totally frowned upon, but I always think… they wouldn’t even miss it 🤣. I’ve also seen on Facebook marketplace in early Spring people giving away hostas as well as asking for a plant trade. Keep your eyes out for that too.
@@TheArtsyGardener ooh that’s marvelous. Never thought about that. Thanks for the tip!!!
We have them, but they are killing our natural wild flowers. Spreads fast, and its not our natural plant, but invasive intruder that we try to control. I live in finland. 😬
Why you didn’t cover the dint in the drinking bottle
I knew the sticker wouldn’t properly adhere over the dent
I’ve never seen pink lupine before, they’re beautiful! We get different shades of blue and purple-ish. I’m in California, is pink a regional color or is it cultivated vs wild?
Lupins can develop many interesting colors, if they're allowed to seed and spread - at least if you have some pink in the mix. 🥰
Lupine spikes are usually blue, but can also be white, yellow, or even red which is what mine are, even though they look pink and I call them pink 🩷
@@TheArtsyGardener Pink or red, they are stunning! I guess I have seen white ones, now that you mention it. TY!
I agree, they are stunning in any color
Thank you! I just bought one and didn't know this!
Thank you so much for watching and happy to help. Happy gardening 💚

Love these plants! 💚 Fair warning - deadhead them before they drop their seeds or you'll have an army of them to contend with (unless that's what you'd like!)!
