Cutting big storm damaged yellow pine
Sold about $500 in logs this day and pine got .30-.40 a board foot. Every time the ground is wet and we have a storm roll in I always have a few pine trees fall down. Instead of letting them rot away and be worthless I sell them to the local sawmill. It gives me some money and cleans up the property. I also get to use the dozer and have some fun. I hope to get a bandsaw some day to saw some of this old growth pine up. This pine is really pretty when sawed up and has nice tight grain patterns. The local old timer said this pine has been growing here since 1941 when they stopped raising corn. Said when he passed through this property to log in the area in 1951 the pines grew up to about 5-7...

Curtis 2000 automatic key cutter cuts GM key

This is a key cutting machine with the display rack I got from my uncle. He was doing some cleaning and I saw this in the back then asked him what he was doing with it. I have cut many house and lock keys with it and several GM truck keys. In ...
450C John Deere bulldozing snow

Here in southern Ohio we had 11-12 inches (27-30 cm) of snow that fell just in one night. It fell very fast and hard over the night with 1-2 inches an hour. (2.5-5 cm). For several days I have pushed snow for family and neighbors. This is the first time this year I have used the dozer to push snow. Ohio is experiencing some pretty good snow and cold temperatures so far this winter so things are...

Komatsu PC27MR-1 engine installed

I have finally installed this 3 cylinder 3D82AE-3HC Yanmar engine in my mini excavator. This engine stock with standard size pistons makes 25 HP. I have installed .20 over sized pistons in this engine so the horse power maybe slightly more. This engine was blown up when I purchased this mini for only $3,000. The machine work cost me $2,080 and have at least $2,000 more in parts for it. It's a s...

No hate from me also new subscriber , my hats off to you sir for your honesty and ability , hopefully someone here can help you by having some equipment and a few laborers to help you reach your goal👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I’m from New Jersey and working on doing my on dump truck service sometime next year if by chance you need a hand I don’t mind helping out and I’ll pay my own way down there, anyway, hope for the best to you and your project and just keep the faith👍🏽👍🏽
Not a "dam" thing to stop this 😂😂
What was the website you used.
This came from the John Deere dealership. ITR aftermarket.
@Paw95 thank you. I just purchased one, am very excited, and you have assisted so much in feeling more confident with it
Essential for anyone who has one or is looking at buying one! Thank you!

Ngl your the typa guy to upload 7 videos and then disappear for 11 years and never upload again
I see what you mean but I won’t lol. The reason I don’t upload as much is because crappy internet. I only have 30 speed internet. I downloaded these and my cousins and he has 1,000 it took 15 minutes to download this video while on mine it would have been over 4 hours.
Pretty cool video. I hate to pull on a chain saw try get it started, need a push button starter on them 🤔😊👍

Very handy rule to have around when cutting logs. I think it’s way better than a tape for this type of work.

Thanks for sharing. I live in the Portsmouth area. I have always been curious about this railroad line since I live so close to it and due to the fact that my dad and quite a few of my family members working for Norfolk Southern over the years. Though my grandpa mostly talks about how much he hated working for Norfolk Southern, he has talked about how much he loved to go to Cincinnati instead of Columbus just because he liked the Peavine line.
Sad thing is that over time we will probably keep losing more of it. For now it's MP105-MP-83 +/-. and the county will get it for their bike path.
possibly the original engine, but that ignition system and alternator certainly aren't.
@@Booze_Rooster no it is not the right ignition. It should all be 24 volt.
Just a suggestion, wouldn't a jet washer remove the moss and not damage the stone? i realise you'd have to transport the water and use a gas powered washer if you have access to one. Anyways, love your videos, very envious of the land you have. Stay safe bud.
Yes this is about 3/4 mile or so back off the township road so it will be a job. I’d love to find someone with a ground penetrating radar to run over this ground to see what’s below. Thanks for watching!!
Thats a rig. A bad rig. Whomever made that dam should be liable for any losses incurred do to its failure
@@johnnytwotimez blah blah blah! What losses nothing happened. You don’t live here and you have no clue about the area.
@Paw95 Oh, did you make that crap dam? You know what happens when earthen dams overtop. Oh wait, you didn't! Well, you sure do now! A liner on the inside face and a concrete spillway, professor. Im an electrician and even i know that. Don't allow seepage of the dam face. Provide overspill with a prudent way downstream without eroding the dam. Genius.
@ hey dummy it failed because of muskrats making tunnels in it.Dam was made before I was even born. Muskrats can eat plastic also. Maybe you should just stick to being an electrician. I’ve already fixed it and it’s holding water just fine.
@Paw95 did you use any concrete? Won't the muskrats just do it again? Do you feel you are responsible for the outcomes of your actions, or inactions, that allow adverse conditions to come about? Im glad you fixed it and i sure hope it stays that way, but you gotta own what happened and im sure you do. You come off like a responsible individual
@ I will tell you this. I live here and I’m not sure where in the world you are. I live in a remote area and in the Appalachian mountain chain. I can’t get a concrete truck down here without building a road and dumping hundreds of tons of stone down. I’ve looked into that and pre cast concrete structures. It just wasn’t easy and very costly. I put better stronger pipes in and have chain link fence to lay on the dam to keep muskrats and beavers out of the dam. Many miles down stream is all forest land and the damage was minimal if even anything at all. It’s. It the first time it’s been high from lots of rain. I’ve looked at all options to fix it and I picked what I thought was best. It’s been fixed and holding water for over a year.
The title of your video... Yeah, that's exactly what happens.
@@ugotgaslighted well it got me over 3 million views didn’t it?
You should have fixed this a long time ago. That problem has existed for years.
Well money doesn’t come easy you know
👍😎👌
This rail lines up to Oak Hill. You can follow a lot of what’s left on OH 140.
I’ve saw some of it on 104. I’d like to follow some of it around black fork junction to oak hill.
This runs into Portsmouth. Though out of service the RR still uses it to store excess cars.
@@OhioRider82 yes I know that. They will eventually get to Rarden but past Rarden the lines getting torn up.

Having a few thoughts here.... FIRST! Normally I use this as an insult to the MAGA folks.... but in this case it feels more like a whimsical compliment "Your Misery Is My Entertainment."🍻😁 I enjoyed this whole thing :) This was fascinating🔍 to see a large scale failure on a small scale! And RUclips has shown me enough of these to predict the course of how this went. Glad its fixed now :)❤🤞💙 Hope it stays that way for a few decades more.
