Automatic Headlight Switch for motorcycles

It detects engine speed via the tachometer signal or ignition coil and switches the headlight on only after the engine has started, and off when the engine stops. This helps with easier starting in cold weather because the additional current draw of the headlight is eliminated, ensuring that the full cranking ability of the battery is available while starting the engine.

This is the first flight of our DIY electric paraglider motor. The build thread on RCGroups: goo.gl/WDmZS2 The electrons are supplied by 12S LiPo and max current is about 140A. Cruise at about 80A. ESC is 300A Jeti. The 1.2m wooden propeller is home-made on a home-made CNC router. The builder/owner and pilot is Graham Kirkland, Port Alfred, South Africa.

Not as far as I know. It's not that difficult to build, though. And you don't have to build your own motors anymore.

Masters of Sex may be my guilty pleasure show but this is by far the best thing that it’s brought me.

Awesome, this is a 10Kw propellor?
That setup draws 6.5kW, but the motor is good for 10kW. A bigger propeller or more volts is needed to utilize all the power that the motor can make.
