what if i need to make two configurations of two different sizes of the same ring. can i make two different drawings for two different ring sizes without updating one from another?
You would want to make an iPart.
5:55 I'd like to give it to him too
Perfectly explained. easy to follow and understand.
Thank you!
thanks, very interesting and informative)
thanks, very interesting and informative)
Hi I have column in my Bill of materials /model that call "Item QTY" i wouldlike to make some Ilogic or makro to copy The data automaticly from that column to custom column "Item QTY E1" is there any easy way to do it?
What is the area of force in stress analysis?
Thank you for your vidéo 👍
You're very welcome! Thank you for watching!
I have a jobs ,I need a freelancer to working with me as professional with inventor?
Nice nice good job
Fix the audio pls!
super explanations,,,.... thank you...
we need full tutorial analysis in autodesk inventor please make video sir.
What exactly are you looking for in an analysis video?
@@thalmet how to use material selection, constraints, loads, simulation, force, pressure, mesh that's all,,,,,.....
The associative symbol always wondered what that was when I create parts of off of a parts geometry thanks for teaching me something new
You're very welcome!
Cool tool, but I would never use the floating faces.. and my boss would never allow that lol. seems sketchy and random. Just cut and add two flanges, less prone to failing and issues with future rework/edits, even if takes 1 minute longer. Sound modeling practices over gimmicky stuff. Definitely worth playing with it though to test out how robust it is.
Every tool has it's use. Use what what fits your process and what's comfortable.
Can I have this presentation? Can you drop the link???
Thanks!!! Can new holes be added to an existing hole table?
You absolutely can! New holes can be selected after the creation of the table and they will be populated in.
@@thalmet Thanks!!!
@@thalmet For some reason the hole chart stopped working completely. I reinstalled Inventor and still nothing. When I try to select the hole edges nothing happens. This is a trial version with 13 days left. I do not know if the functionality decays as it approaches expiration.
@@motriz-industrial6846 functionality shouldn't decay as the trial moves forward. Are you given any specific errors when you try to use the Hole Table function? Could be that the referenced part is having issues and not necessarily the drawing.
@@thalmet No errors are shown. It allows me to place the origin, but when trying to select the edges it does not do anything. I had used a hole chart hours before and it was working fine. The original part was imported from an IGES file, so the holes are not really holes, they came as extruded circles, but I would assume Inventor is able to handle those as well.
Super helpful!
1 like from India ♥️
Thank you!
I have a question on this. How do you use the sheet percentage in the BOM to show how much a percentage of a sheet a part is using. Of course this is for sheet metal. Or do you know of a video I could watch? Thanks and appreciate any help!
Nice
So incredibly helpful! My instructor gave us a half assed PowerPoint with bare minimum directions.. not even referencing the book. Thank you x a million!
Glad the video was helpful!
so after i get this info, do i now go and compare that to how much ksi ss can handle? is it as simple as blue = fine, red = failure?
You can definitely use the information in comparison to the tensile strength of materials. All of this also depends on safety factor and other variables that might be considered in such studies. But yes, sometimes it is as simple as blue = fine and red = bad. 🙂
And thank you for taking the time to watch the video!

very important concepts.............well done
