i set injuries to high. much harder to build a long term winning team with the standard injury setting. 20-80 scale. scouting accuracy normal. trading hard.

my friend, what do you say about AI in this mod? Do it make reforms, built roads/houses/etc or does it play a lot more weaker than the player?

Would you be interested in doing a slower paced lets play tutorial series for the Meiou mod? I think a lot of people would be interested in watching that - I for one am struggling to get my head around all the mechanics!

At the 14:16 mark where you're confused about why the game indicates your army will lose: Enemy Army: Commander Rank of 16 8 Knights 300 Light Cavalry (counter archers & have exceptional pursuit) 661 Levies Your Army: Commander Rank of 13 5 Knights 300 Infantrymen (weakest men-at-arms in the game, basically they're ever so slightly beefed levies) 300 Archers (100% counter from enemy's light cavalry) 604 Levies I hope this is helpful. There is a lot of strategy for battle in CK3 and this is a basic example. Doesn't even get into what men-at-arms and/or knight buffs there may be from buildings, dynasty legacies, ruler skills and traits, commander rank and traits, terrain bonuses/penalties, defender advantages, etc. This is why I love this game so much. You can play so many different ways and have fun trying so many different strategies in different parts of the world map with all types of different cultural and religious combinations, customizing them, and so many other things like army and battle strategies.

Rural estates in thi era function like mini-states, and any increas in the state power actively takes power away from them, so any reform wich stranghtens the state they will opose.

Good choice wirh Denmark, now Livland is an option. Also, you should take about 20 years anad try to stay out of conflict. Let your corruption fall, get your religius unity up, and your autonomy to its minimum. During this time try to get the reformes neccesary to annex Mazovia, I thin you need about 2, 3 to do it. You already got the state reach and can boost beurocratic influence when you plan to do the reform .

This game had the bad luck to be released while pandemic and peak-woke activism, its a hidden gem, and with the last patch very stable.

You should take all the provinces between the dineper and Moldova for yourself. Also go after the nobilitys autonomy privilage, it is the best way to attack their power long term.

Hoping for the new episode

As far as eastern expansion, I think you should take the provinces west of the Dnieper river and east of Moldova. It gains you acces to the Black sea wich could be very valuable trade vise in the late game.

You lost charming because it is a childhood trait. Once you became an adult you lose your childhood trait, which is charming in your case...

You should try and anney Mazovia as quickly as possible, it will help massivly with CE due to the river network.

the best place for wind mills is Dobruja. the region closest to the sea. its pretty well known here in Romania and also there are a lot of them.

How about you don't be a coward and face the Eastern Romans! pick off their armies one by one so that it'll be easier to defeat the main army in battle! Oh and make sure you appoint a defensive commander and you probably need some good knights. Also you need to know when are the AI armies going to split up so that you can pick them off because.... CK AI is not sharp.

Not a M&T expert by any means, but my guess as to why you're struggling with the nobles gaining power is that a lot of your provinces, particularly those in Galicia, have really high autonomy. You could combat that by building harbours along the Vistula, they propagate communication the same way that roads do.
