the movie you’re scared to watch…
Alien was released in 1979, by director Ridley Scott (his second feature film) and written by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett with additions from Brandywine Productions. There is quite a debate about who wrote Alien. But, there are plenty videos discussing the topic. Alien is a space horror film, with an unique approach to word 'Alien', with H.R Giger at the helm to design the monstrous elements. However, you already know this. I hope you have a great day and you've discovered a secret! YOU GAIN +4 IN PERCEPTION and whatever you're insecure about, has now been fixed. 💚

Helldivers 2 has cast a spotlight on to the 1997 Starship Troopers film so I thought I'd do my part, rewatch it and share with you some of things I noticed this time around. For a little context, I'm sure all viewers probably already know. Starship Troopers was made in 1997 and it was adapted from a book of the same name, However, the director Paul Verhoeven didn't like or even finish the book ...

True Romance came out in 1993 by Director Tony Scott and Writer Quentin Tarantino. Sadly, I don’t know much about Tony Scott. But, like a gaggle of film bros, I do know quite a bit about Quentin Tarantino… Anyways, I hope you enjoy the video and the rest of your day goes swimmingly 💚 Those dirty little links: RUclips: ruclips.net/channel/UCLmRetlXeMOXf8hHICq1PJw Twitch (for when i get a PC that...

I come by it honest.
I just love how snappy John is in this game.
Well he was almost cooked alive....
he has lumbago btw
you gotta admit, even without lumbago he's still old, let him rest lol.
NO, Kevin Costner in Fandango
The poor guys got lumbego!
Red Harlow fell of hard
Rockstar confirmed red dead revolver isn’t in the red dead redemption universe, so uncle being red Harlow is just incorrect.
@@brandonott6103 Rockstar is just coping, your childhood hero is now a fat layabout.
@@brandonott6103 Nah he's red harlow
@@AzureSetsunai4345 it’s a dead meme lol he isn’t

Christopher Walken Dennis Hopper scene.Priceless
Go play the video game. It is terrifying.😅
I’m building my PC soon, and I’m gonna go through my backlog, Alien Isolation is on the list!
Red Dead Revolver but Red Harlow just sits there:
The Chestburster scene is one of the most parodied scenes in movie history.
4:09 What movie is this scene from?
That’s The Lighthouse from 2019… it’s very similar to The Shining :))
The franchise behind Ridley from the Metroid video game series.
It’s all coming together…
I watched it yesterday for the first time on RUclips for free with ads and it’d the best movie out of the whole franchise next to alien covenant
Make sure to watch Aliens if you haven’t already :))
I forgot how much John used to shout.
Being surrounded by gunfire most of your life will do that to a man
@@davosay0 Yup, plus the horses are a bit loud when they run with all those weapons and stuff.
Actually both RDR and RDR2 recorded all horse riding dialogue in a talking and yelling version, that plays accordingly to whether you’re galloping or not. Also distance between you and the talking npc is factored in.
I watched this movie as kid on dvd i absolutely love this movie
It was scary but now it’s fascinating and we all cheer for the alien
It was scary 30 years ago. Now it's just slow. Ridley Scott is the worst thing to happen to the franchise.
So glad he’s only producing Romulus
I saw "Alien" in the same ex-Cinerama theater where I'd seen "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968) and "Star Wars" (1977). The TV and newspaper ads contained the cryptic phrase: "In space, no one can hear you scream." Not knowing that kind of movie it was raised the tension immediately, aided by Jerry Goldsmith's creepy score. It was a Horror movie where you weren't sure that anyone was going to survive. Too bad it's NOT coming to any movie theater near me.
My parents took me and my family and 4 Japanese exchange students to see Alien when I was 8 years old and when the chestburster exploded out of Cain I got up and ran out of the theater!🤣🤣🤣
Now give us a love letter to James Camerons Aliens. Let's be honest. Alien is not perfect. Its crafted beautifully to scare the f*** out of audience the first few times they see it. But after that, the suspense is lost. The characters become as one-dimensional and wasteful as they really are. But with Aliens, we grow to love the characters the more times we see it. Camerons use of 3D cinematography and set design keeps distracting us enough that the action or scary scenes feel fresh every time we see them
Not a bad idea!
Nothing is "perfect" and whatever character development you get only one might survive since death is a dreary constant,
@@randallbesch2424 It's as perfect as movies can get.
And you didn’t even mention the amazing music?!?
:o I’m so sorry
HR Giger was hella freakyy What was he thinking while designing the big chap
That dude was taking opium just to keep his mind at bay. His work was sick tho

Nice job 👍 "Big things come from small beginnings" 😁
Let’s see what happens! :))
Damn this video is way too high quality for a channel with 100 subs big respect G
Thanks man, appreciate you <3
Erm, except for the sound. It could use a better mic and processing (de-essing & compression) to make it "pro". Good vid, though. and my favorite movie of all time.

This was everything I needed to hear and more about my all time fave film ❤️ incredible video 🫡👽
I’m glad you thought so!
I have a cool trivia nugget about this film for you. Tarantino ripped the ending straight from a Kung Fu movie he himself wrote a review of on Letterboxd. If you'd like to watch the movie it's free here on YT just skip to ending you'll see exact same movie climax. Just RUclips search "Return of the Tiger(1977)(HD)". The movie stars Bruce Li and the Heavy is Paul Smith who played Bluto in Popeye with Robin Williams. The Kung Fu movie is a riot it has amazing stunts and Kung Fu action is incredible. The Movie has exact same climax it's 2 gangs that meet up to do a drug deal and the entire movie we also have a Lady and Man Cop Duo that are investigating. At the end they do the deal and it goes bad so the 2 gangs start killing each other and halfway through the fight the cops jump into the fight. So we end up with the same crazy 3 way battle royale that we got in True Romance. Hope you check it out because if you love True Romance your probably going to like Return of the Tiger. If you don't watch it at least read Tarantino's review of the movie on Letterboxd. Cheers.
Excellent movie, the scene about sicilians was epic.
This has been my favorite movie since I accidentally saw it on HBO in like 1995. I wasn't paying attention really but I saw Christian Slater's name, then Patricia Arquette, Michael Rapaport, Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Samual Jackson, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Tom Sizemore, Chris Penn, Saul Rubinek, Bronson Pinchot, James Galdofini- damn! "He must've thought it was White Boy Day. It ain't White Boy Day, is it?" Fantastic movie.
I saw it. I know, but I can barely remember it.
I heard about this cool movie, True _Romans,_ but it wasn't about legionaries tromping around. Still pretty good though.
Was this a porn parody? It sounds like it could be
Good review until started in with the cringe-inducing social justice virtue signaling
Really appreciate this comment, I found myself doing this while I was editing but wanted to get this out on a deadline, so I didn’t re record, plus at the time I was still nervous about actually making a video about this film, I’ve made myself aware of this and it won’t (hopefully) make an appearance in future videos when my confidence develops. Thanks you watching the video tho!
my favorite movie since I was 8 years old 39 years old

my fave tarantino movie, mainly because he didn't direct it, lol, so it's tighter than most of his other flicks
Patricia Arquette as Alabama Worley is hotter than 400 Hell in this film. She is finer than frawgs hair split four ways! She's got the body, the face, the wardrobe, the attitude , if you like trashy blondes (I do!) this is a goddamn dream girl!!!
One of my all time favorite films. I've seen it at lest ten times including at the cinema on opening night in the U.S. and U.K. The "Tarantino alternative cut" is also worth a watch and is edited according to the original non-linear script with the alternative ending.
Love love this movie name my dog Clarence that year
I think this is the most wholesome comment on this video
This is incorrect. This is actually the best movie I've seen well over 5000 times.
This film makes my Top 10 of all time. It has everything.
Most of these will be familiar to hardcore film & genre buffs, but I never hear them talked about in the real world: Harold and Maude, Kamikaze Girls, The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, Frank, The Bronze, Revenge of the Hideous Sun Demon, He Said... She Said, Eagle vs Shark, Tucker: The Man and His Dream, The World According to Garp, The Accidental Tourist, The Science of Sleep, Safety Not Guaranteed, Proof (1991), Being There, Silent Running, Colossus: The Forbin Project, The Elephant Man, Ghost World, 2046, Kentucky Fried Movie, The Breakfast of Champions, The Mosquito Coast, Koyaanisqatsi, A Scanner Darkly, The Jacket, Barbarella, Quick Change, Tokyo Godfathers, Kakurenbo: Hide and Seek, Tekkonkinkrete, The Secret Adventure of Tom Thumb, Tin Man, The Shoe Fairy, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, Rumble Fish, Six-String Samurai, They Live!, 1984, Imortel: Ad Vitam, Videodrome, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Idiocracy, Tank Girl, Death Race 2000, Soylent Green, & Fright Night 2
The fact that theor romance is rushed is the best part! It sets the whole film and is in line with it's plot. It tells you a lot about the characters and felt authentic to me. This movie wouldn't be what it is without the rushed romance.
My favorite scene: An Aryan looking Jewish dude, Ace Levy, who's totally not the descendant of a Nazi who fled to Argentina after WWII and totally didn't take on the identity of one of his victims, picks up a green plastic fiddle and starts playing Dixie, the unofficial anthem of the Confederacy, and a black guy starts dancing to it. Priceless.
I didn’t even notice this, appreciate you 💚
If you haven't watched True Romance: What have you been doing with your life?
Saw it in the theaters!! One my all time favs...... The scene with Christopher Walker and Dennis Hopper! I own those sunglasses that Clarence had! True story, Christian Slater was hitting on my GF at the Viper room; now back then I go 235 and 6'2 just out the army as Saw Gunner, so I was big old tattoed with 4 other long each Firefighters they were my GF roommate was from there and her brother treated slot of celebs at the Viper room, that's no we even got in.. Anyways Slater was kill and I did blow with him and Woody h.
Honestly, when I first watched the movie, I also picked up on some of those oddities. Truth be told, I was wondering why the bugs hadn’t been consistently sending meteors if they supposedly did that. And the fact they’re so far away and had basically no reason to attack humanity in the first place is extremely odd. You’d think they would send bugs over like the humans did if they were really after humanity. Like, if the bugs were after us for food or after our world’s resources. A calculated meteor strike is just… illogical killing for killing’s sake. Why put that much thought into attacking a far off planet in the first place? I have reason to believe that the government caused the meteor strike and blamed it on the bugs just as an excuse to go after them. Cause if the bugs came to Earth. NGL, they’d slaughter the hell out of us easily.
Completely agree my guy, first time I watched this film I was like 13 so I thought humans could never be bad… granted even the end scene at the time made me feel uncomfortable when everyone is cheering because the brain bug was afraid
aw yea, another great video !
Thank you sooo much!
My dead showd me this movie when I was 11
New sub! Love your video style. Wait; no mention of Dennis Hopper's "Am I Lying Now?" monologue?
:ooo tbf i think i will revisit True Romance again in the future because there are quite a few things I wish I had mentioned... That Monologue being one of them... Also, Thank you for the sub! <3
