Hi Stacey I’m catching up on your vids as I’ve missed a fair few (it was me not you ☺️) I loved the skirt fashion show, the flared skirt silhouette works well on you. The flared tiered boho style is my fave on you. I also prefer wider elastic waistbands of late. They’re so much more comfortable and give me a little more support around the spare tyre 🫣. McCalls 7906 is beautiful. I’m sorely tempted to make something similar. I may just has fabric for it 😂 I’m sure we’ve all bought fabric that spoke to us, but once made up we don’t ‘feel’ it anymore for whatever reason. I’ve been very meh about my clothes for a while now, and you hit the nail on the head: none of my clothes are speaking to me for where I am right now. I need to get back behind my machine again (had a forced hiatus due to some major renovation and then family staying over The Season), I’ve missed it. Btw: I’m loving your hair.

Love the polka dot skirt on you. Low on the waist, smoothly falls into a nice flare. I can see what you’re saying about the dropped waist on you. I’m a wide waistband girl..all the way.. too. I tend to gravitate toward high (and wide) waistband maxi skirts as proportionately, I have a longer torso and shorter legs by comparison. However, I have plans for an above the knee skirt to wear with tights and boots and a matching jacket. Not sure it will suit me but I want to try it. Because I’m 21 too! 🙃

I love the red print with wideband. You should definitely take in the band. My favorite was the green/yellow tiered one. So feminine 💜

Stacey I love the red skirt style on you. The attaching of stiffner stuff works great. I made the button thru skirt. I love it but wore it once before pandemic. Skirts are a funny thing. I made the tulip skirt from the Assembly Line. Again love it but wore once 😂n❤❤

Hello Monday morning in NZ from Sunday evening in The UK!

Oh my goodness what a week you had! I’m so sorry about the incident with Mabel. Something like that happened with our dog a few years ago (he was a mastiff/pit bull mix). We were walking him in the neighborhood when one of the young boys who lived near us came at the dog with a stick and hit him in the face with it. Before we even knew what was happening, the dog head butted him (didn’t even bite him) but the boy fell down and hurt himself. Thank goodness, other people were around and witnessed the whole thing so even though the boy’s father tried to get the police to force us to put the dog down, we managed to make the whole thing go away. Because you have the whole thing on film, I’m sure it’ll all work out. Sending you lots of hugs my friend! ❤

Ok I’m going to be ruthless because that’s how I like to approach my closet clear-outs… but please take it with a grain of salt and know there’s isn’t an ounce of malice here. (I’m always afraid of written comments and how they can be interpreted) 😘. #1 - Go (it’s way too big for you now and does absolutely nothing for your shape). #2 - Go (I don’t love the colour on you; just a little bit blah and also too big). #3 - Go (colour is gorgeous on you, but it’s too big in the shoulders; looks like it’s wearing you instead of you wearing it). #4 - I’m torn on this one. I think it’s super cute and I love the fabrics. It does look pretty big on you though. So maybe Go? #5 - I think this one could stay for a little while longer. It’s really cute and you could get some more wear out of it. #6 - Stay; it’s super cute and such a fun happy colour!

Aw Lovely I’m so sorry for the stress of this for you with Mabel. Honestly, some parents just don’t know how to handle different situations involving their kids. (Especially if they the precious type). So glad you’ve got it all filmed. I’m exactly like you, when things get too emotional, I just want to lay down and sleep. Oof what a stressful event. I hope you and Mabel have been able to calm down some, and that the child is okay. We always hold B if we know that someone has dogs because a lot of them will act out of character around small kids. Hopefully nothing comes of it and everyone is okay. PS I’m glad you got that fern bird done for yourself!
