Does anyone else hear Ella Fitzgerald under the dialogue? Bizarre.
Yes, sorry, only a little bit during the first 15 or 20 minutes of the show. It wasn't audible in the house but is on the recording due to a problem with the audio patch.
The Drinkwaters can hit the notes, but what a forgettable score J&H has! It was a waste of money to attend it in the theater, and a waste of time to revisit it here.
I personally don't disagree with you about the score, but I thought it was neat to see and hear identical twins in the roles of Jekyll and Hyde. And also -- it wouldn't have been a "waste of time to revisit it here" if you didn't watch it.
